Casting Call: Skycam Utility – Technical Operations Assistant

Job Description:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Skycam Utility to support our Technical Operations team during game day operations and strike for remote TV broadcasts. The role involves managing the cables and reels for the Skycam system to ensure they do not become tangled, as well as assisting with the unloading and loading of broadcast equipment. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Skycam system during live broadcasts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and strike (teardown) of Skycam equipment, including unloading trucks and carrying equipment.
• Monitor and manage the cables and reels attached to the Skycam, ensuring they do not become tangled or obstructed.
• Perform tasks that may involve climbing and walking on catwalks to maintain the Skycam system.
• Handle the loading and unloading of medium to heavy cases off broadcast trucks.
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure all Skycam-related operations run smoothly.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working at heights, including climbing and walking on catwalks.
• Must be capable of lifting equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to assist with both the setup and strike of broadcast equipment.
• A proactive and safety-conscious attitude is essential to succeed in this role.
