Job Description

The coordinator provides support to the Los Angeles based Production & Operations Department.

  • Serve as a liaison between executives, internal departments and external businesses to ensure that all matters are attended to in an efficient and timely fashion.
  • Working on various assigned projects for the Production & Operations Department.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings across the team.
  • Ensure weekly, timely receipt of key production documents including schedules, calendars, at-a-glance grids, etc. and distribute to appropriate teams as needed.
  • Creating and Maintaining a shoot date calendar.
  • Maintaining department and division assignment grids and update regularly, as needed
  • Distribute weekly updates for linear rollout grids.
  • Work with managers to ensure complete deliverable elements are received from production companies and filed within internal database systems.
  • Keeping internal files, data bases, grids, assignments, etc. up to date.
  • Train in and become proficient on managing cuts and onboarding users in our internal cut management system, FineCut.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of production-related experience; production office experience is preferred but not required
  • Proficient working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sharepoint
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Media, TV/Film/Streaming Production

  • An individual who has strong organizational skills and an ability to coordinate with multiple different departments, including those based in Los Angeles as well as in New York.
  • Has demonstrated an ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Is technologically savvy enough to be able to operate and understand the latest software, internet / digital formats, and social media advancements and has the flexibility to grow with the changing media landscape.
  • Prior production experience preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Requirements

  • Prior experience or training as a 1st AC preferred
