The Team

Podium is a division within freuds housing our sport, entertainment & culture offerings. The division houses a range of publicists specializing in sport & entertainment, whilst also offering the opportunity to work across a range of different clients. The division works closely with the wider freuds group, offering unrivaled connectivity, experiences, and opportunities.

The entertainment team within freuds works across a range of disciplines, including unit publicity, theatrical film campaigns, streamer publicity campaigns, and premieres & live events.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate (AM) who will be involved in a range of TV & film publicity campaigns, as well as live events. We operate an integrated publicity team so you will be expected to have a strong knowledge of UK online and offline journalists. You will be a key player in driving the creative ambition of the client and have a proven ability to develop and deliver impactful publicity strategies and campaigns, generating excellent results. You take pride in delivering excellent work and regularly exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

> Be an integral part of a team delivering best-in-class publicity campaigns for a range of clients

> Confidentially lead day-to-day activities on a project will minimally input or instruction.

> Secure the confidence of the client, becoming their day-to-day first point of contact

> Have solid experience, and be confident in, talent handling and dealing with talent reps

> Have experience, and be confident in, operating on red carpets / live events

> Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the current UK media landscape

> Demonstrate excellent knowledge of main social media platforms utilized by our clients

> Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the current entertainment landscape in the UK, US, and globally

> Be confident in creating original, project-specific creative publicity ideas & activations

> Contributing strategy and solutions and proactively introducing new ideas to improve the project, and overcome unexpected obstacles

> Nurture ongoing close relationships with a pool of journalists who know you personally. Ensure that they will take your call and listen to ideas you pitch on behalf of your clients

> Demonstrate a sound knowledge of UK influencers relevant to your projects, how to work with them, and when to utilize them on campaigns

> Demonstrate a desire to work on additional projects within the wider Podium division as needed (e.g., Culture, Sport, etc)

  • Experience with indie or social issue-driven projects preferred

  • Ability to work with low-budget resources in a high-impact creative environment

  • Must be reliable, passionate, and open to storytelling collaboration

  • Some roles may be remote or open to support from India

Compensation

  • Low-budget project: Expenses covered

  • Profit-share and deferred payment options available
