As a Production Artist you will be responsible for all aspects of production artwork generation including:
Utilizing your expertise to review customer supplied designs and layouts, suggesting improvements when necessary, and modifying formats to increase the quality of production.
Design and preparation of art and copy layouts using graphics software for materials to be screen printed, digitally printed, or photographically imaged based on job requirements, customer specifications and other related job information.
Performing other technical duties including scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, and pre-flighting.
Accurately assembling and / or creating as needed all elements of design required for production, including dimensional or illustrative drawings, paper or electronic proofs, print routings, etc.
Archiving and updating of graphic files as required.
Output of film positives / negatives for production using a dry film image setter, assembling, inspecting, retouching, and mounting films as required.
Production Artist skills needed to succeed in this role include:
A meticulous and goal-oriented individual with a keen eye for the smallest details.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe Photoshop®, CorelDRAW®, Microsoft Office Suite®, and / or 2-D CAD drawing.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand mechanical / technical drawings.

Position Summary:
The Production Artist position is integrated within the TCM creative team and focus on the production of various print and digital assets as well as creating and revising collaterals to support the design team. Create files/projects within established processes, in a cost-effective, and timely manner while maintaining consistent company brand and identity style guidelines. Currently this is a remote position, however this may become a hybrid work schedule position and therefore candidates must be local to Huntington Beach, California OR Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create print and digital assets of various formats for marketing distribution
- Track and facilitate backlist reprints by making necessary changes, preflight files for print and/or digital output
- Provide production support on books, educational materials, corporate print/digital materials, website, catalogs, mock-ups, white papers within corporate style guidelines
- Perform color correction and image manipulation of photos and illustrations in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign as needed
- Create post-pub assets by maintaining complete, organized, and accessible electronic archives of projects, including packaged files with all fonts and artwork. Ensure all files are organized clearly and most up-to-date files are stored properly

We are searching for an Executive Producer who is experienced, ambitious, compassionate and highly driven, to lead and help grow our San Diego office’s production department. This new role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our photo and video productions in San Diego and will manage and mentor a team of 3-5 full time crew members and production staff including Content Creators, Video Producers, and DPs. This role reports directly to our Head of Production.
The Executive Producer is responsible for making sure all shoots are executed efficiently, on budget, and to our clients’ standards and will oversee 1-5 productions a week, from simple UGC-style content creation for organic and paid social to large-scale productions for CTV and broadcast. They will delegate and at times execute production coordination duties including searching for locations, writing call sheets, creating budgets, and collaborating with our Casting Manager.
The ideal candidate for this role has worked as a Video Producer, Production Manager, Production Lead, Senior Production Coordinator, or another key managerial production position at a creative agency, media, entertainment, or production company. Candidates must have a strong understanding and proven experience of all technical and organizational aspects of planning and executing video and photo shoots. This person is also an experienced leader and has effectively led and trained a team of crew members and production staff.

- Minimum of 3 years of top market producing experience at a local news station
- Demonstrated ability work under deadline pressures and work in a rapid, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong editorial and production skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be flexible with working hours (late nights, overnights, holidays) and adaptable to change
Required Education :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (journalism, communication or related field preferred)
