We’re looking for a passionate associate producer for our growing production department Our business in content production– trailers, editorial, and other entertainment-related video jobs– is growing quickly. The role: The Executive Producer is responsible for the daily production of KPRC’s Houston Life. Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills are imperative. You must be a flexible leader who manages the Houston Life team and maintains editorial control to help evolve the program.

The ideal candidate will guide and manage hosts; multi-media journalists, producers and interns as well as all aspects of production of a variety format live, on location daily live show. You will be responsible for oversight of program content, for calling the shots in a control room, for managing shooting schedule of all talent, and you’ll assist in writing, editing, promoting program, and participating in community outreach. You will be responsible for managing and executing the vision for Houston Life and for helping produce all segments to fit within the vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the daily show from the control room, handling all editorial duties, back-timing, social, on-air feeds, talent communication and all matters related to the live production of the show.
  • Works closely with Creative Services Director to manage brand and vision for Houston Life.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Five or more years of experience producing a daily, live program on TV or radio.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and must be comfortable calling the shots in a control room during live production.
  • Strong ability to write and edit copy and edit video.

Job Description

The Executive Producer elevates and ensures creative excellence through production on their assigned accounts. The Executive Integrated Producer must be expert at navigating agency systems, predicting potential roadblocks, working to remove them, and negotiating with key players across the agency to foster the teamwork necessary to produce complex, integrated, multi-disciplinary executions. Along the way, they harness support within production, tech, business affairs, legal, project management and other disciplines to fill in knowledge gaps and manage risk. The EP advises creatives, account teams and clients on choices that shape pipelines that protect the creative ideas and executes them even stronger. They ensure client needs/goals are met and integrity in the final deliverables are kept. An important part of the role is to be a mentor to the junior producers and creatives, to guide their growth and help them execute with the highest level of craft.

Qualifications

Production

  • Lead ( >1-5mil) high stakes Productions independently (or with the support of a less senior producer)
  • High stakes Content Productions with A-list Directors/Partners, Celebrity talent and multiple workstreams and media.
  • Experience and understanding of the QSR category a major plus
  • Ensure that all key stakeholders are kept informed and (if needed) educated on the production process. Lead advocacy for improved communication and work processes across disciplines.
  • Lead the discovery/vetting process on large engagements to accurately scope projects while defining project requirements and success metrics; this includes evolving creative concepts into clear sets of deliverables and ability to develop production solutions that ensure creative excellence within budget parameters.

The Role

The TripleLift CTV Creative Writer/Producer brings a superior creative eye and experience to our group, delivering superb creative in the form of writing, video production, animation, visual design, and more for our new Advanced Advertising division.   • Comfortable with post-production terminology and project directives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as manage multiple projects at one time.

This position is based in New York City.

As an Associate Producer on Brut’s Stories team, you will pitch and produce content on current affairs, pop culture, and social issues specifically for Snapchat and other emerging platforms. The ideal candidate will be up to date on the unique trends on Snapchat, as well as the trends on other social media platforms. They will pitch, write, create stories with Snapchat in mind, and will be willing and excited to try a variety of story-telling formats.

Duties include:

  • Pitching creative ideas daily specifically for Snapchat
  • Researching, scripting, and editing videos on a deadline
  • Posting and scheduling social media posts
  • Identifying stories with a strong visual element or coming up with ways to cover stories that don’t have visual elements
  • Identifying stories from a range of sources, from our in-house subscription services to third party or user-generated content
  • Using analytics to inform decision-making, pitching, and posting
  • Pitching, planing, and executing coverage for live events and filed shoots
  • Interviewing subjects for stories
  • Producing some branded content for partnerships and clients
  • Occasionally working on the weekends or off-work hours expected to cover newscycle

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in communication, marketing, or journalism
  • Creative mindset and interest in innovative trends in in journalism
  • Extensive knowledge of Snapchat and an in-depth understanding of audience engagement on the platforms

BRON Digital, is a state-of-the-art virtual production and service company, that utilizes the Unreal Engine to develop and produce long-form animation for series television, short-form content, and motion pictures. We are seeking an Associate Producer to join our team, cross our Digital animated shows.

Requirements

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Help to promote interdepartmental communication and workflow.
  • Assist line producer and production manager in balancing artistic and productivity requirements.
  • Mentor production managers, coordinators, assistants and provide guidance and support to department leads.
  • Attend all relevant reviews and approval sessions to promote effective communication throughout the production team and provide leadership as needed.
  • Assess schedule continuously with line producer and production manager, and as team weigh technical constraints against scope of the project, while also protecting the creative.
  • Help forecast overages and delays throughout production, and work to find creative and technical solutions with production team, director and department leads.
  • Communicate creative priorities throughout the production by working closely with Director.
  • Suggest production solutions that will allow for needed creative changes to be made.
  • Assist in the creation of and help to maintain project management documents including status reports, project plans, communications plans, post-mortems and compiling of historical information.
  • Track, document, and report on major creative changes that affect budget/schedule to line producer and production manager in a timely manner.
  • Generate and distribute reports to EVP and SVP Digital.
  • Work with partner studios to ensure daily communication runs smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and foresee and avoid potential delays.
  • Responsible for overseeing data management in Shotgrid – check that all materials are being correctly captured, and that all relevant data is accurate.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ year’s production management experience in animation film and/or VFX production or equivalent
  • Proficiency with ShotGrid Software
  • Experience with all parts of the animation production pipeline, including layout, modeling, shading, animation, effects, lighting, rendering, compositing & post
  • Familiarity with all aspects of production management, including budget & schedule management, personnel and performance management
  • Superior personnel management and team building skills, and ability to lead with a positive attitude and encourage collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of production techniques and terminology
  • Expert organizational, project management & time management skills
  • Ability to anticipate and deal with an ever-changing production environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material
  • Ability to manage time and balance priorities amid the pressures of busy, deadline-driven production
  • Must have the ability to organize, schedule, and delegate work effectively
  • Must be proactive and be an effective problem solver
  • Previous computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project, spreadsheet and database applications required
