• People from Oban, Scotland and the immediate surrounding areas to play supporting roles in a feature film shooting locally in August/ September 2023

CASTING:

AUSTIN – 18 to 22 years old, all ethnicities man. Austin is a gay teen who struggles with his faith. His mother took him to Deacon Jones’s “church” as a child, where a life-changing, traumatic event happened. He is fiercely protective of his younger, adopted sister, Hadley, despite the secret he and his mom have kept from her their entire life. When the teens become murderously possessed, he must risk it all to save his sister. Actors identifying within the LGBTQ+ community are a plus. 18+ LEAD.

• 25 to 35 years old, Black male. Average height and build. Shoulder length braids or dreadlocks. Must be comfortable with scripted violence and murder content. Victim was shot, prop gun will be pointed at talent. Must closely resemble attached photo. Rate – $150/day + hotel.

Upcoming for a commercial shooting, most likely 6/27 or possibly 6/28 or 6/29

• We are looking for a child – 7 – 10 years old of Chinese descent
• Would be portray sibling of a Chinese cast member

We all remember one or more special toys from our childhood, and we know the value of those memories. We are looking for a very talented hands-on Creative Director with a passion for branding and design across all marketing activations including brand development/guides, packaging, marketing collateral, trade shows, web, social media, photography, and video production. The ideal candidate is highly conceptual, overflowing with ideas, capable of leading and designing with internal and external partners, as well as visual communication materials that support the brand strategy and business objectives across multiple touchpoints. Must demonstrate a proven track record in developing ideas and creative assets. Experience in toys and/or kids brands a must.

Additional Job Duties:

• Lead the development of big ideas that are on-brand, on-trend and can translate across marketing communications to include print, web and social media
• Direct, manage and inspire creative resources inside and outside the company
• Knowledge and fluency on social platforms, a passion for what’s happening in culture
• Maintain ownership of work from concept through final delivery
• Prioritize multiple projects at any given time and efficiently deliver on time
• Persuasively present ideas to gain buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization
• Collaborate and partner with team of copywriters, producers, marketing partners and fellow designers in a positive and productive manner

Qualifications:

• Must be a hands-on creative
• Bachelor’s Degree in design and 10+ years’ experience in a related field
• A graphic design background working with a range of applications in both print and digital media (packaging, marketing collateral, web, and social media)
• Strong network of creative professionals to get work done
• Has a strong, foundational design aesthetic focused on visual communication
• Experience developing and representing product-driven brands with a consistent look and feel, preferably focused on toys and/or children
• Ability to establish graphic tool kits and style guides for outside collaborators to maintain a cohesiveness across brands
• Ability to work with in-house resources and outside contractors to complete projects but also have the talent and knowledge to be hands-on as needed
• Ability to clearly communicate creative ideas and design directions to internal teams and outside freelancers
• Ability to help conceptualize and storyboard commercials along with the ability to manage product and commercial shoots
• Consumer of pop culture and toys
• Self-motivated, positive, proactive and flexible with great taste
• A CAN-DO attitude is required
• Portfolio is required
