As a member of the Design Team, the Art Director is responsible for creating considered concepts and elegant design solutions for client website, email communications and other marketing channels. Candidates must sit in Los Angeles, California for this hybrid opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Writers, Designers and Associate Creative Directors to set the tone and concept for a project
- Designs content and interfaces under the limited direction of an Associate Creative Director.
- A proven track record of graphic design and art direction for the web, particularly for the marketing of major brands
- Strong knowledge of interactive creative development processes
- Experience developing innovative solutions with limited guidance from an Associate Creative Director
Qualifications:
- You have at least at least 7-11 years of relevant experience at an agency, design firm or leading brand
- You have experience in graphic design, art direction, advertising, marketing, corporate identity, branding, and digital communication
- Excellent design, system thinking, and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development
- You are naturally curious and passionate about design — with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends
- You are a motivated and driven art director that collaborates well with a team to find simple solutions to complex problems
- You are a proficient communicator, with great presentation skills, that can articulate ideas in a clear manner, engage in healthy debate, and accept directional feedback. Must be able to communicate effectively both up and down a creative organization
- In depth knowledge of the creative development process, including effectively and efficiently staffing projects, providing timely and helpful feedback to improve creative solutions, and producing work on schedule. Must be able to effectively lead junior creative staff members, vendors, freelancers, photographers, and illustrators as needed
- You are proficient in design software used in the design process, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with 3D software is a plus

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Design breakthrough & engaging game day content that elevates the fan experience, working alongside Marketing, Partnerships, Community, Creative and Comms teams.
- Unparalleled focus behind brand storytelling from pre-production to postproduction across all creative & talent assets (music, videos, activation, hosts, etc)
- Develop programming consistent with our brand equity and long-term goals
- Lead the development of never been seen, best in class, Halo board content production and execution
- Own the development of our long-term Supporters & Fan Community strategy and execution
- Develop new strategies and opportunities consistent with our brand positioning
- Construct an overall vision for the fan supporter group, take a leadership role in building & managing relationships and lead the flawless execution of this group
- Oversee staff related to fan supporter group and game presentation including part time sales staff and game night staff.
- Continually bring forward best in class ideas, technology & groundbreaking strategies
Your Background, Skills And Experience
- 15+ years experience in a related position required
- 5+yrs of demonstrated people leadership with a demonstrated track record of coaching & developing extraordinary talent
- Culturally savvy, innovative thinker with a passion for storytelling through engaging visuals
- A consistent record leading the successful conception and execution of high-profile live shows.
- Proven creative thinker, with the ability to originate and deliver powerful creative concepts
- Persuasive, compelling presenter, who is able to bring ideas to life and sell them to key stakeholders with conviction and clarity
- Committed, ambitious and highly motivated teammate with a commitment to quality & professionalism
- Incredible at networking and growing a roster of strong relationships /contacts across the industry & community
