We need help with

  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance for engineers on the Metagame and Platform engineering teams, in conjunction with the Technical Director.
  • Guide and grow the team of engineering leads into successful people managers.
  • Work with the Technical Director to define and execute strategic goals and milestones, establish best practices and procedures, and evangelize the core development values of the engineering team.
  • Work with production staff, directors, and other leads to establish engineering tasks and manage schedule requirements.
  • Review and approve completed engineering tasks in collaboration with the Technical Director, the production staff, and other leads.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and leads to ensure that technology interests and policies are properly represented and maintained through the course of development and that future technology is being developed on schedule.
  • Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to perform assigned tasks and maintain the technological evolution of the project.
  • Maintain familiarity with Blizzard Entertainment’s current game designs as well as with emerging technologies across the game industry in multiple genres.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience authoring code for game software.
  • 2+ years leading impactful engineering teams.
  • Experience shipping multiple AAA games, with at least one as a senior engineer or higher on a large team
  • Strong, proven C++ skills and shipped at least one professional game primarily authored in C++.
  • Significant leadership experience managing engineers.
  • Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following areas: Server development, UDP-based game object replication, DevOps, and Online Services integration.
  • Experience with performance analysis and code optimization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The General Manager will be a true owner of their business. We are looking for someone who is extremely seasoned, independent, innovative, and business-minded. With support from the HQ squad, they will lead a team of ~20 awesome people delivering an amazing experience to 1,500+ customers per week. They will need to do all of this while carefully managing the P&L. Our client is a national, privately held investment and development firm based in Kentucky. CLIENT has a 60-year history of developing world class hotels, offices, residential and mixed-use developments in 22+ states across the US. The company has $1B assets under management, has built over 25M square feet, and generously invested in communities with $2.4M in corporate and foundation giving in 2022.

Current projects include a mixed-use development offering spectacular views and Cincinnati. The project includes a music venue, hotels, office buildings, multi-family, retail and residential condominiums. VTPro is seeking a highly organized candidate to join our team as our Campus Manager to oversee our Los Angeles campus. Qualified candidates will manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously to ensure the facility is running smoothly and will collaborate frequently with the People & Culture department to promote a positive company culture beginning with onboarding new hires to executing company wide events.   • Serve as point person for office maintenance requests and schedule repairs when necessary, including review and follow-up on work orders and updating the team on repair progress
  • Serve as contact for external vendors and contractors and coordinate services with them as needed (cleaners, pest control, etc)

Responsibilities:

This role leads the optimization and enhancement of all digital content metadata services, solutions, and artwork delivery standards for media client. Your goal: help our fans find their favorite client’s shows faster and easier, wherever and whenever they want to watch them. Reporting to the Vice President of Video Distribution & Content Operations and working closely with the Senior Manager, Content Metadata & QA, Senior Manager, Content QC, and Manager, Content Operations, you’ll oversee the subject matter expert teams for video metadata display, syndication, and governance. Your diligence will help improve the overall discoverability of client’s shows across platforms and will play an instrumental role in advancing client’s positioning within the rapidly evolving digital marketplace. Overseeing the Content Operations, QC, QA, and Metadata teams, you will:

  • Drive the Teams’ Communication: represent the teams in meetings and synthesize data to report up, down, and across our org
  • Lead the Teams’ Management: work closely with team leads to guide priorities, escalate and resolve project blockers, navigate HR concerns, highlight individual and team successes, identify growth opportunities, and maintain team cohesion and engagement
  • On-demand if/when relevant, you will also provide team support and guidance during hiring, new partner integration, new system onboarding, org restructuring, etc.

We are seeking a savvy, highly organized candidate to fill the full-time position of Director of Institutional Giving. The individual in this role will report to the Vice President of Development and is responsible for developing and managing all activities related to grantmaking for government, corporate and foundation entities. The Director of Institutional Giving will write and submit grant proposals, track deliverables and compile reports for funders, manage a calendar of submission dates and deadlines, and prospect for new funding sources for Nashville Public Radio, including 90.3 WPLN News and 91.1 WXNP, Nashville’s Music Experience. We’re looking for someone who’s a strategic thinker, mission-driven, team-oriented, and a skilled writer who has a “can-do” solution orientation. Our Director of Institutional Giving will excel while working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and have a history of consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding goals.

Responsibilities

Research and Cultivation

  • Strategically seek grant opportunities that align well with Nashville Public Radio’s programmatic plans, priorities, and mission.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Development, the corporate sponsorship team, and board committees to identify and cultivate prospective corporate and foundation funders.
  • Regularly monitor federal, state, and local websites, prospecting tools, and other sources for Request for Proposals (RFP) announcements and guidelines.
  • Build relationships with corporate and foundation funders, involving the CEO, VP of Development, and corporate sponsorship team when appropriate.
  • Foster positive and organized working relationships with staff members and key contacts.

Proposal Development and Submission

  • Coordinate and manage the application process for grant opportunities, including developing the strategy, submission plan, writing, document collection, internal and external submission deadlines, and final submission of all related materials.
  • Serve as lead writer and editor for all aspects of the application process. Ensure accuracy of all submitted materials and collaborate with the finance team on the submission of financial reports.
  • Serve as liaison to program staff of grantmaking entities, and actively solicit feedback on proposal preparation and solicitations.

Grant Management

  • Upon receipt of a grant award, monitor progress and ensure appropriate grant fulfillment and effective communication with the funding entity.
  • Maintain a detailed application and reporting calendar, including prospective sources, grants awarded, reports submitted, and those funding entities who are on a hiatus or declined.
  • Provide budget projections and institutional giving financial information to the leadership team as requested.
  • Write and submit all required reports and grant documentation.
  • Maintain grantmaking historical records and regularly update Nashville Public Radio’s CRM system to document institutional giving information and track donor activity.
  • Manage the gift acknowledgment process for institutional giving.
  • Create an annual plan for each institutional supporter with identified points of contact and communication, above and beyond the traditional submission process.
  • Attend Nashville Public Radio and outside events to represent the organization, for networking and external relations.

REQUIRED: 3-5 years of grant writing experience with demonstrated success in applying for and administering grants. Demonstrated skill in developing proposal budgets and a proven track record with institutional funders. Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.

Leadership

Administration

• Monitor department scheduling and adjust as necessary to ensure operational success
