The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced International Social Media Manager to develop, grow and engage Superdry’s presence across our established social media channels (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) while building and optimising new social opportunities (Tik Tok, Pinterest, Snapchat and YouTube.)

You will report into the Senior Social Media Manager and work closely with our in-house marketing teams to align both streams of the social strategy – ensuring consistency and shared learnings. We’re looking for a highly driven, passionate, energic individual that can come in with a wealth of experience and play a key role in changing the brand’s perception via social media.

You Will

  • Support the Senior Social Media Manager in executing the social media strategy plan across channels
  • Line manage 1x Social Media Exec
  • Be a role model for wider exec structure developing talent within the social meda team
  • Ability to create social-first content and attend photoshoots and events
  • Manage social activity and paid campaigns for Superdry in UK, DE and FR
  • Oversee the execution of all social media platforms, with a key focus on Instagram and TikTok
  • Manage the BAU boosted activity on a day-to-day basis
  • Deliver optimisation, build and engage communities and use social listening
  • Understand the latest technologies impacting key global social platforms
  • Deliver results with a drive for testing and learning
  • Work closely with marketing team to plan social content in line with the wider marketing and content plan
  • Work with the performance marketing team to maximise paid social activity and social in CRM
  • Work with PR team to align product priorities on social via influencer and VIP
  • Ensure that the campaigns are performing, adjusting them accordingly
  • Ensure that the analytics for the campaigns and channels are growing
  • Be responsible for managing weekly and monthly reporting within the team

You Are

  • Someone with sufficient experience within social media marketing
  • Experienced in managing a team
  • Someone with a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Social Media landscape – both organic and paid
  • Experienced in fashion/retail within an social media team (agency or in-house)
  • Able to confidently interpret business and marketing requirements to develop specific social briefs
  • Detail oriented, to ensure flawless execution of global and regional social activities
  • Someone that will remain at the helm of current trends including visual and hashtag trends, algorithm and platform changes
  • Able to work cross functionally – this role has key interfaces both internally and externally
  • Experienced in building strong working relationships with key social platforms in prior roles
  • Skilled in executing an aesthetically pleasing and on-brand social media experience

Blizzard Entertainment has an immediate opening for an Associate Manager in Story & Franchise Development (SFD) at its Irvine, California headquarters. This is not a permanent remote position. This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Business Operations and is responsible for financial planning and analysis and operational analysis in partnership with executive leaders within SFD and stakeholders in finance on the game franchise teams.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic individual who relates well with all levels, has experience in accounting and financial analysis in the entertainment field, and is a natural leader and collaborator. Candidate must have advanced Excel modeling capabilities, understand basic accounting principles, value attention to detail, and possess a high proficiency in problem solving and analysis. This role is for you if you have a solid foundation in financial analysis and are looking to grow into people management.

Responsibilities

  • Support business planning efforts with the preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, cost trackers, and long-range plans
  • Oversee and review production of monthly dashboard reports, providing regular updates on YTD, QTD, and pacing performance to management
  • Prepare and present detailed franchise cost reports on a quarterly basis
  • Prepare and submit monthly product allocations, capitalization, and journal entries
  • Maintain and develop forecasting and modeling tools, and ensure the accuracy of information reported to stakeholders across Blizzard Finance, Franchise Stakeholders, and SFD leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related areas

Associate Director, Overwatch Community & Influencer Relations

As the Associate Director, Overwatch Community & Influencer Relations, you will set the vision and global strategy for Overwatch community efforts and lead the development of player-centric plans across multiple community disciplines – Influencers & Content Creators, Editorial & Community Management. You will also help establish goals and processes to ensure community programs are integrated with broader go-to-market plans, and work with international publishing teams to ensure that these plans are localized and relevant for our global player base. Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience working in online communities, influencer strategies and custom creator activations

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving brand presence via content and community building through digital channels. This role requires creation of strategic programmes to engage with digital communities, partners and athletes to grow content distribution and syndication, looking for trends and insights, and growing overall digital revenue streams. The right candidate will be able to work across different stakeholder groups to proactively research, plan and identify content syndication opportunities and negotiate and deliver on these opportunities, whilst proactively developing, implementing, tracking and optimising content distribution programmes across various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Identify, cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with a broad spectrum of digital content partners across all channels to drive content distribution and revenue growth.
  • Create strategies to build, grow and manage online communities.
  • Lead the end-to-end syndication of our content to key media partners and manage the ongoing development of optimised content syndication workflows

  • Presenting ideas, campaigns and strategies to clients of all levels of digital maturity
  • Understanding the latest digital trends, and reporting this back to the wider team and clients

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Experience in a digital content distribution role.
  • A keen understanding of digital technologies, social media platforms, websites, apps and content production
  • Experience working with post production houses and understanding of types of media.
  • Experience with reviewing content licence agreements
  • Experience of building relationships and creating commercial opportunities through 3rd party publishers and outlets

JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Director will be responsible for leading the attraction technical/pm team in developing the technical approach for all major elements and then providing oversight during execution with the vendor.  Primary tasks include concept feasibility, scope of work development and review, vendor assessment and selection, vendor oversight, risk identification and mitigation, field installation strategy, oversight of field test and adjust and SAT.  In addition to the safety and technical aspects of the job, budget, schedule and creative constraints will be incorporated into all decisions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Makes direct engineering contributions to projects as required relative to engineering, code and standards compliance, Universal Specification compliance, and technical systems achievement of creative and business goals.
  • Review/approve all Ride/Show scope of work and RFPs.
  • Reviews/develops the technical plans and progress for UC projects as assigned.  Enforces Universal’s specifications, standards, and technical contracting methods.
  • Leads the project technical team in assessing and mitigating technical and schedule risk.
  • Assists with Universal Patent pursuit and defense.
  • Oversee ADA compliance for Shows and Rides.  Develop and execute innovations/inventions that provide increased accessibility.
  • Drive safety improvements across project. Monitor compliance with regulations and internal standards; develop new safety technologies; and ensure that safety protocols reflect theme park best practices and cutting-edge ideas.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: Non-routine; general policies applied to frequently changing situations.  Influences decisions of major nature.  High degree of tact & diplomacy to obtain favorable decisions or maintain good will.

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree (AA) is required in a Technical field.  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 15 Years: Required Vendor Management experience with significant in-field installation related experience.  5 Years: Required related experience. Theme Park specific experience is highly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
