Peacock’s ‘Poker Face’ Extras Casting Call

BACKGROUND CASTING CALL – POKER FACE
We are working on the TV Series Poker Face filming an episode here in New Mexico for two weeks.

DETAILS
STARTS FILMING – 29 August 2022 (Week Days only)
FILMING LOCATION – MORIARTY for 8 or 9 Days & ABQ for 1 or 2 Days
RATE – $13.00 per hour. Guaranteed 8 hrs & OT after 8 hrs
VEHICLES – We will also be needing Background with Vehicles.
If you are booked with a Vehicle, Bump will be $30.00


COVID TESTING Will be required to Covid Test in Abq prior to being on set – Covid Test Bump $30.

VACCINATION – This production has a mandatory vaccination policy & requires all cast & Zone A crew to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna, 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, including a booster shot if eligible ) or have a disability or sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Individuals who have received a Novavax or AstraZeneca vaccine shall be considered fully vaccinated as long as the individual has received at least three vaccine doses, which may be any combination of a vaccine approved. If you meet this criteria, please submit without providing any additional information at this time. This role is for a Producer with strong pre-production, production, post-production, and video editing skills. The focus of this position is producing on-location shoots. Other responsibilities will include video editing and media management. This role will assist the Head of Production in producing, editing, and distributing national broadcast TV spots as well as digital videos, and must possess the technical skills and knowledge necessary to bring broadcast TV commercial projects to completion on time and within budget. The most important assets for this position are creative resourcefulness, the ability to tell stories visually, and attention to detail.

Job Accountabilities

  • Producing responsibilities for on-location broadcast TV shoots; this includes all pre-production, production, and post-production work required to properly plan and produce broadcast TV and video shoots (50%)
  • Video editing responsibilities (25%)
  • Media management (25%)

Education/Experience Level

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional video production experience, all aspects; emphasis on producing and video editing
  • Experience working on TV commercials (preferred), TV shows, or film
  • BA, BS, or BFA in film/video production required or relevant commensurate experience working in the film/TV/video industry
  • Coursework in marketing, advertising, and communication is a plus

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong ability to tell stories visually
  • Stellar producing skills; all areas – this includes: pre-production, production, and post for digital video shoots all the way up to large-scale on-location broadcast TV commercial shoots
  • Proficient with Showbiz Software
  • Proficient with professional NLE software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro X
  • Audio editing knowledge is a plus, including familiarity with Pro Tools
  • Working knowledge of digital video media asset management; knowledge of QNAP RAID storage and Facilis HUB storage solutions is a plus
  • Familiarity with industry standard production procedures, best practices, techniques, setiquette, and terminology is required
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
  • Must be motivated and able to work well alone as well as part of a team
  • Travel will be required to go on location for production shoots, supervised editorial/post-production, and media asset management needs
  • Strong management, organizational, and project management skills with demonstrated attention to detail. Must have a successful track record of managing detail-oriented work under tight deadlines and within budget

Role Overview:

The Marketing Production Manager maintains high-level knowledge and organization of all content productions and photoshoots. This role works closely with Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing and Creative to align on seasonal needs for the business.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee Production Coordinator and guide them in most effective sample organization, task management and prioritization.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to operate within seasonal timelines and ensure shoot deliveries are being met within the Marketing GTM calendar.
  • Ensure and own photo studio cleanliness, upkeep, stock, etc.
  • Work directly with Product Marketing Manager to ensure channel needs are met within shoots.
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Talent Relations, etc… to obtain and ensure approval on all materials used in projects and to disseminate information on restrictions to all affected parties.
  • Partner with Creative Project Manager and Asset Specialist for photoshoot asset hand-off and feedback.
  • Lifestyle photoshoot production.
  • Own communication and cross-functional visibility between external agencies and internal teams.
  • Participate in model and location selects.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing Manager to pull all necessary needs based on shot list and catalog pagination.
  • Work directly with Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing to ensure we are working within budget.
  • Assist in maintaining on-set efficiency.
  • Be a stakeholder for on-set prep, shoot, and takedown.
  • Studio photoshoot production.
  • Source model packages and casting options and own process of model selects per season by routing for feedback and approvals to brand marketing and creative teams
  • Maintain relationships and communication with model agencies.
  • Oversee casting and model fits by sending product, tracking sizes, etc.
  • Manage studio calendar and ensure crew needs are met and scheduled.
  • Manage and work with Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing on daily/shoot costs.
  • Provide assistance and booking for product laydown shoots.

 

Educational/Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of photoshoot and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with working with apparel product.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional skills.
  • Excellent understanding of GTM initiatives, planning and execution.
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry skills.

About the Job:

The fashion/marketing manager is responsible for the daily operations of the branch located in Austin, Texas. They will be working closely with the CEO on all aspects of the business. For example, they are expected to recruit, mentor, and manage a large team of remote student workers at different universities. They will also be responsible to manage the process of sourcing fashion items, coordinating logistics for delivering, and managing an inventory system.
