THE ROLE

Barrows is seeking an Art Director with a passion for retail and shopper experiences to develop high-impact ideas for global brands across a range of industries. You will partner with the strategy team to develop shopper marketing concepts and graphic designs for integrated shopper marketing programs and experiential retail designs. A deep understanding of activating in these channels will be critical to success. You will work closely with creative and strategy leadership to unlock big ideas that engage shopping audiences and produce compelling content that supports our clients’ stories. You will lead other members of the creative team, see projects through from start to finish, and sell creative concepts to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own projects to completion with minimal direction and oversight
  • Support in the development and execution of creative concepts and projects
  • Generate exploratory mood boards by gathering literature and internet references
  • Work quickly, independently, and with a can-do attitude
  • Define and drive overall aesthetics for project
  • Lead creative ideation and brainstorms
  • Know and understand client businesses and Barrows retail strategy
  • Liaise with lead creative/strategist and account team to ensure project flow
  • Liaise with production on pricing, edits, and printing
  • Solid technical skills and excellent sense of aesthetics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Portfolio of prior professional work (shopper is a must)
  • Solid understanding of FMCG shopper marketing
  • Shopper activation experience preferred
  • Elevated understanding of the retail trade environment, including omnichannel and physical/digital retail integrations
  • Experience presenting and successfully selling creative concepts; articulate creative vision to both team and clients
  • Proven experience in creating standout creative work
  • Knowledge of Barrows ways of working
  • Understanding of pricing in execution of creative concepts
  • Ability to drive client solutions through ambiguity

Our client, a top cannabis brand, is seeking a multi-talented Creative Director, bringing strategy to life through attention grabbing, dynamic, and emotional multi-channel marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will understand how advertising, public relations, marketing, web, and social media play together in today’s media landscape by elevating brands and maximizing consumer appeal. This role will report directly to the COO.

Only experienced creative marketing directors with a proven background in online marketing, analytics, social media, campaigns, product launch, strategy, website traffic and SEO will be considered.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion.
  • Translate the cannabis company’s marketing objectives into clear and creative strategies and ensure brand continuity across all marketing channels.
  • Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral
  • Be a digital native and social media guru capable of leading teams to produce relevant and award-worthy work on all digital and social platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years Social Media Marketing and 5+ years Marketing experience required – cannabis industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or related discipline
  • 3+ years SEO and website traffic analysis and 5+ years of relevant work experience in the advertising, marketing, or design sectors
  • Experience design and branding
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Extensive experience in social media marketing and social networking using social analytics tools
  • Strong knowledge of writing and creating content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Entrepreneurial minded with the ability to facilitate seamless synergy with executive management, vendors, partners, and their creative teams.

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 includes full medical coverage, PTO, and Paid Holidays

Job Title: Ecommerce Art Director

Role Overview:

Vuori is seeking a Ecomm Art Director with an excellent eye for studio photography, fashion art direction experience, and excellent planning and time-management skills, to join our quickly growing creative team. This role will be responsible for directing the visual aesthetic of our ecomm photoshoots, and managing freelance talent to ensure that our photography is on-brand and the highest quality. This person will have extensive experience in the fashion and active apparel industry, leading photoshoots for aspirational global brands. The Ecomm Art Director will report to the Sr. Art Director and will partner with the Studio Producer, Product Marketing Manager and the ecommerce team to make sure images are accurate, on-schedule and on-brand.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

This role is an important leadership role on the Vuori creative team. This person will own making selects for our ecommerce channel, which is an incredibly important part of our business. This person will collaborate with multiple teams, and will be open to feedback while still maintaining the creative direction for brand photography. The Ecomm Art Director will oversee both on-model and off-figure photography. This person will work under the direction of the Senior Art Director, and will be required to complete tasks on-time according to the ecommerce studio processes.

  • Make selects for all ecommerce photography, including on- and off-model. Selects must be completed on time, organized according to our studio needs, and be in the Vuori brand aesthetic.
  • Partner with the Studio Producer, Sr. Art Director and Marketing leads to curate model selection and update as needed, seasonally. Create moodboards to support presentations and discussions.
  • Direct models and freelancers on set, clearly communicating specific notes to achieve on-brand, best-in-class imagery.
  • Direct flat-lay and pin-up stylists and photographers on set, clearly communicating specific notes to make sure all off-figure photography is aligned to our style guide, and retouched correctly.
  • Create moodboards, and go-bys for freelancers so they have clear direction for photography, crops, poses, hair & make-up and styling.
  • Make retouching notes and crops in the Vuori studio software management system in a timely manner, meeting the studio deadlines
  • Oversee image quality upon receipt from the retouching vendors. Partner with the Asset Manager to make sure images are retouched accurately, named correctly and organized in the correct folders in our DAM.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to ecommerce photography.
  • Work closely with the Studio Producer to continuously improve processes and make sure all ecommerce creative operations are working as smoothly as possible.

Education/Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 7-10 years leading art direction in an agency, editorial or marketing environment, working in fashion, active, and/or lifestyle category.
  • Accountability to follow processes that are time-sensitive and affect multiple work-streams and teams.
  • Highly skilled at working with freelance talent and clearly communicating direction to ensure a desired result.
  • Highly skilled at making selects according to brand direction. Will integrate feedback and adjust selections accordingly.
  • Experience building mood boards for styling, poses, crops, and hair & make-up direction
  • In-depth knowledge of the ecommerce photography industry (ie sample management, making selects, using software to organize and select images, etc)
  • Detailed understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of interactive communication, processes and user-interface design for digital products
  • Excellent time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously
  • Proactive approach to identifying and acting on ways to improve the work, continually pushing the vision forward

The Berman Group is seeking a Creative Director to join our creative team. We are looking for someone who is motivated, organized and thinks outside of the box. You will collaborate with our creative director, graphic designers and web programmers daily in order to produce compelling visual assets that will be used across a variety of platforms.

This position is hybrid with the candidate to work in the NYC office two days a week.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design a wide variety of printed and digital material, including brochures, annual reports, event invitations, posters, journals, e-blasts, social media posts and web banners.

· Create corporate identities and develop logos

· Work across all areas of production including graphic design, digital, and video

· Design website layouts

· Contribute to Editorial planning sessions by providing innovative ideas and creative insights

3. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. Experience with After Effects is a plus

4. Experience with UX/UI Design; Proficiency in Figma

Film and Video Operator and Editor- US Army Enlistment Required

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a certified Combat documentation/production specialists responsible for supervising, planning and operating electronic and film-based still, video and audio acquisition equipment in order to document combat and noncombat operations. This is NOT a civilian contractor position. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

JOB DUTIES

  • Operate and perform unit level maintenance on motion, still and studio television cameras
