STORYLINE: Sage, a graduate engineering student, is called in as a last-minute hire for a brand ambassador position at a high-end networking event. Things get weird.

GENERAL BACKGROUND ROLES

MALE VENUE STAFF/MALE EXECUTIVES

• Venue staff: back-of-house folks unloading chairs from a box truck, setting up AV equipment, finishing up venue decor setup, etc. (wardrobe is casual/semi-athletic)
• Executives: front-of-house folks supervising the venue setup, waiting for the event to begin (wardrobe is business-formal)

FEMALE VENUE STAFF/FEMALE BRAND AMBASSADORS

• Venue staff: back-of-house folks finishing venue decor setup. They are attentive but overworked, and if you look closely, you’ll see their sense of hustle is rooted in something deeper than typical showtime stress… (wardrobe is casual/semi-athletic)
• Brand ambassadors: front-of-house folks hired for their industry expertise. They are vibrant and intelligent and will engage with and show hospitality at event guests (wardrobe is business-formal)

This is a volunteer role and, therefore unpaid. 

No prior acting experience or resume is required.

Location: Downtown Austin, TX

Compensation: Due to the testimonial nature of this project, there is no monetary rate. Those who attend the event will be provided with the following:

• Food and drinks (alcohol included for 21+) 
• A swag bag
• A ride in a driverless car!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• ANYONE 18 & UP. We are seeking potential riders who hold all views of driverless cars to experience their first-ever driverless ride! Nervous? Excited? Skeptical? Come give it a try and share your experience on camera. 

Bonus if you are:

• Have never driven, don’t have a license, or are unable to drive a car
• Consider yourself “old school” (you still write checks, you drive a stick, call cabs, etc)
• A college student, late night worker, or just visiting Austin
• A cyclist, runner, or parent who uses a stroller

NOW CASTING:

• Non-Union, Agricultural Commercial. Filming Thursday, 7/6 @ 1 PM in Athens, Alabama, for approximately one hour. Pay rate $75 each.

Non-speaking roles:

• Black Male, 21-35, as part of a couple. 
• Black Female, 21-35, as part of a couple.
