The Video Production Specialist II will work within Zebra’s Global Demand Center to serve as video producer and editor. This person will be responsible for all aspects of video production, from preproduction (script and storyboard creation), production (video shooting, lighting, and sound), to postproduction (editing). The Video Production Specialist II will work closely with the global demand center, global product marketing, branding, public relations, and internal communications to build and deliver best-in class video while working on new and innovative video formats to best tell the Zebra story.
Responsibilities:
- Under minimal instruction, manages all aspects of the video creation process, from pre-production concepting, scripts, storyboarding and timelines, to post-production editing.
- Collaborates with outsourced production talent, including videographer, sound and lighting for each program.
- Maintains final assets in a common digital asset management system.
- Works closely with internal clients in the global demand center, global product marketing, branding, public relations and internal communications to meet their video production needs.
- Explores new and innovative video formats to expand Zebra’s social presence.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2 + years of experience with a proven record of producing high quality video content, from concepting to completion, at an agency or production company
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Audition software
- Motion graphic and animation experience a plus
- A record of success managing production teams and guiding a variety of video formats
- Highly creative with the willingness to continually explore new creative paths
- Demonstrating a collaborative, cross-functional approach for planning and problem solving
- Successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
- Able to travel 25%

Chicago PD Casting Call
“PRISON GUARD” – Seeking female background actors to play prison guards at a women’s prison. We are ONLY looking for females at this time. This is a director-selected role, so please make sure your photos are CURRENT and good quality. We need both a headshot and full body photo. The director is looking for taller and/or physically intimidating women to play guards.
There will most likely be a wardrobe fitting in advance of the filming date; date TBD.

Casting Alert! I am casting paid, non-speaking extras, for an amazing feature film. There is a scene shooting about one hour west of Chicago with UPSCALE MEN AND WOMEN (20’s to 60’s), all ethnicities, to work as RESTAURANT DINERS. We are shooting NIGHTS and we could start as early as in the afternoon and shoot until sunup.
If you are available to work all nights for approximately a 12-hour time span (a lunch is provided), and can commit to working Thursday, March 10th, Friday, March 11th, Sat, March 12th, Sunday, March 13th and Wed., March 16th , Thursday, March 17th. Please apply ASAP. There will be Covid tests and a wardrobe fitting the week before and you must be flexible enough to attend.

Eclectic Full Contact Theatre is accepting video submissions for their upcoming fundraising production, the Patchwork New Play Festival, March 4-13th at the Edge Theatre in Chicago
The Patchwork New Play Festival is a celebration of new one-act plays, all based around the theme of resilience. Nine plays will be presented, six plays per night, in a round-robin format. There will be three groups of three plays which rotate each night.
Rehearsals will be scheduled and run by each show’s director based on their cast availability. Tech is the week of February 28th, with each group of three plays having one night of tech prior to the opening night performance on March 4th. Each group of plays will perform twice each weekend.
As we are casting for a wide array of plays, we are looking for a wide and diverse group of actors. Actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, and body types are strongly encouraged to submit their audition.
And for everyone’s safety and peace of mind, you MUST BE VACCINATED to submit for this project. Please send a video audition of two short (60 seconds or less) contrasting monologues, a headshot, resumé, and a picture of your proof of vaccination, to [email protected]. Please put “Patchwork Audition” in the subject line.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is January 28th.
