“MAKAYLA DOUBLE” – Seeking a young African American or mixed ethnicity female around 9 years old to work as a photo double – potentially multiple days, if you’re available! Should be roughly 4’5″ and around 85 lbs. Please send a front facing, side profile, and back of the head photo of your child so we can see their full hairstyle. Make sure to also include a copy of their minor work permit if we don’t already have it on file.

*If you’re available all the days, GREAT! If you can only do select dates, please make sure to list those in your email.

“PRISON GUARD” – Seeking female background actors to play prison guards at a women’s prison. We are ONLY looking for females at this time. This is a director-selected role, so please make sure your photos are CURRENT and good quality. We need both a headshot and full body photo. The director is looking for taller and/or physically intimidating women to play guards. 

The director will be making her selection before the end of the week, so please get your submissions in ASAP.

There will most likely be a wardrobe fitting in advance of the filming date; date TBD.

“DOWNTOWN PARK” – Seeking *VACCINATED* background actors for an exterior park scene. This casting notice is open to males and females, ages 12+, any ethnicity. The location of the extras holding and lunch will be at a hotel downtown, and the hotel is following the City of Chicago mandate that anyone who enters the restaurant area, must show proof of vaccination. Production is required to comply in order to use the hotel for holding and lunch, so for this particular day and scene, we can only book fully vaccinated individuals. 

“Fully vaccinated” means 2 doses of Moderna or Pfizer, or 1 dose of J&J – you do not need to have the booster shot. Please be prepared to share your vaccine card if you are booked, and bring your card or electronic vaccine passport/app on the day you film.

Searching for Male ONLY, Caucasian, 50’s to 60’s, to work as a REAL Mixologist and be a Hand double for Chicago Fire on Friday, Jan. 28th.

There is a rehearsal Thursday, Jan. 27th. There will be a covid test either Tuesday, Jan. 25th or Wednesday, Jan. 26th (takes about an hour).

Casting up to 9 COVID VACCINE AMBASSADORS!!

CDPH CHILDREN COVID VACCINE AMBASSADORS: Boys & Girls, 5-11yrs old, who live within the city of Chicago (no suburbs) to speak about the importance of being vaccinated from their point of view. Looking for articulate, charming, endearing children who have an outgoing spirit and are comfortable being recorded/photographed. Need to be able to knowledgeable about Covid and the importance of being vaccinated…. From their point of view.
·      MUST be 5-11 years old currently.
·      MUST be resident and going to school at CPS or within the City of Chicago (no exceptions).
·      Must be FULLY COVID vaccinated with both doses as of 1/14/22. 

PROJECT DETAILS: 
Shoots: Wed. 2/2 – Fri. 2/4 (need to be available for at least one of these days)
 
Pays: You will be compensated for the day of the shoot $750.00 which will cover all media captured on production date. ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION (if content is used) of no less than $1,000.00.
 
What it will used for:  Videos & Stills taken will be used for CDPH on social media platforms, Internet, public usage for a period of 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable producing studio based livestreams and VOD

• 4+ years of experience creating and managing the production of premium digital video

• Experience in covering business related media would be an advantage

• A desire to multi-task and facilitate quick turn-a-rounds

• Ability to think independently, strategically and efficiently across multiple events and platforms

• A track record of coming up with creative solutions for logistical challenges

• Ability to closely supervise post-production, maintaining editorial integrity and quality control

• Passion for creating engaging, interactive, non-fiction programming

Responsibilities

• He/she will produce and project manage a wide range of original content

• The Producer will act as a liaison between internal departments, external interviewees and company creative leads and experts

• Lead the production of assigned video projects to deliver on schedules and within budgets

• Produce original video that is conceived, shot and formatted specific to the needs of the web and mobile platforms

• Manage the end-to-end production process, from project planning to graphics to finishing (color/sound) to distribution

• Develop, pitch and produce pilots of new video concepts that drive video views and engage audiences

• Communicate clearly and professionally across departments and with managers about budgets, schedules, approvals and deliverables

• Help implement video strategies focused on audience development and brand growth

• Be supremely organized, proactive and positive at every stage of production

• Embrace and exploit emerging video platforms and formats

• Stay up to date on technical developments and industry standards to help improve work-flow and quality

• Oversee management of assets, working with teams to archive and organize footage for future use and distribution

• Some travel is required in this position

We seek a well rounded video production specialist to join our team who is comfortable working in a highly collaborative corporate environment.

Position can be remote for now but will be required to be on location and in the studio in the Bay Area as needed. This is an ad hoc, project based position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide production support in studio, remote and on-location when needed.
  • Deep knowledge of video production, how talent on camera should look like, helping talent to set up their home equipment via video calls, including framing, lighting tips and sound quality.
  • Assist talent before and during remote recordings or livestreams.
  • Operate camera, run audio, light, run a teleprompter and maintain all production gear.
  • Operate voice overs and podcast material.
  • Operate and maintain computer systems related to video production.
  • Prep and load equipment for on-location shoots and ensure all equipment returns to the studio and storage areas.
  • Help maintain and update inventory of equipment at the studio.
  • Keep storage areas and studio organized, clean, and safe.
  • Review footage and actively seek and recommend improvements to increase production quality and streamline various workflows.
  • Ingest, organize, and hand off media to the post-production team using established workflow.
  • Assess equipment needs for upcoming productions and consult with producers and studio leads.
  • Maintain expert level status by staying up to date on current equipment and emerging production processes.
  • Assistance with location scouting when needed.
  • Conduct tests of new equipment and production concepts.
  • Work with production and editorial teams to make sure there are no issues or improvements that can be made on set.
  • Provide feedback to the studio lead of any equipment issues to be repaired.
  • Meet regularly with studio leads to ensure best practices and standards are being met.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Friendly and helpful attitude toward producers, talent and stakeholders on shoots.
  • Understanding of all steps of the production process to properly communicate with the team.
  • Respectful and clear communication with team members and stakeholders through written form as well as in person meetings.
  • Willingness to help other team members.
  • Responsive, clear and concise communication through Gmail and Google Hangouts.
