NOW CASTING REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL STORIES IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN!!
A new, neutral and non-biased, national news network is looking for people in Detroit, Flint, and the surrounding areas to share their real stories in a series of promotional commercials.
They are looking to shoot either the week of Sept 7th or 13th, 2021, in SE MI.
The rate is $1000 ($500 shoot session fee and $500 one year media buyout (may be $1000 if they do 2 years)) for the project.
Open to 18 and older, all ethnicities, all genders.
They are looking for stories of hope and positive change in the face of challenges, based around the core themes of: crime, infrastructure, jobs (AI/robots/economy), climate/environment, tech.
Some examples of the kinds of stories I’m looking for are:
- – A closed BBQ restaurant pitmaster finds a second act bringing their signature BBQ to the world from home.
- – A small business thrives when forced to get creative in the face of an ever changing world.
- – The survivors of gun violence (or their family) find hope in justice.
- – A teen from an under-resourced neighborhood is delivered to a university.
- – A social worker works with a homeless person to get them a job.
- – A prisoner Tastes freedom with their champion.
- – A shuttered video game arcade is resurrected. (Could also be movie theater or other entertainment business like a theme park.)

- Looking for male Background who appear ages 28-35 to portray SWAT. MUST have short hair, clean shaven, and a Waist 34 or smaller. NO visible tattoos when wearing a short sleeve T-Shirt.
- In order to be considered, you MUST update your profile with A CURRENT SELFIE, and MUST complete the Anti-Harassment Training in order to work.
NOTE: As a condition of working on set, all talent are required to get Covid-19 test at a production sanctioned testing facility prior to any work date.
Must be okay with any form test (nasal swabs, etc). Additional testing may also be done on workdays. While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn.

PLEASE NOTE:
- – This is a non-union project. No acting experience is required, however you should be outgoing and comfortable on camera.

- – You MUST be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to be considered.
- – If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief online (Zoom) interview with the Director- date and timing TBD
- – If selected and you are not fully vaccinated, you MUST be available for a brief COVID test on August 19th or 20th.
- – If selected, you MUST be available for filming between August 20th-24th. You will only be needed for one day of filming, but must keep all the dates available until booked.
- – If selected, you will receive $75 for a COVID test (if required), $75 for a wardrobe appointment, and $1,000 for one day of filming. Additionally, you will receive $2,000 if you are in the final commercial.
- – You will receive an additional $1,000 as a location fee if filming takes place at your place of business or home office/shop.

Amazon Hunters Casting Call
The Amazon show “Hunters” is looking for Non Union Females to play “Fiddler on The Roof” Attendees.
This would covid test both tomorrow and Wed 8/11, fit on Thur 8/12, test again Mon 8/16 and Tue 8/17 to shoot Wed 8/18.
Each covid test pays $50 and are fairly quick, fitting pays $30 for about 45 min. and work day pays the non union rate of $120/8.
