We are seeking a professional level Choir Conductor to educate and inspire vocal students in our K-6 music program. This unique opportunity offers the chance to nurture young musicians while working with a driven musical community and exchanging artistic visions. Depending on qualifications and fit, we may extend additional opportunities to work with our other musical organizations.Â
Responsibilities:
- Lead dynamic music classes for students on Monday & Friday.
- Monday – 2 classes: 12:45-1:40, 1:55-2:45
- Friday – 3 classes: 11:55-12:45, 12:45-1:40, 1:55-2:45
- Collaborate with the Program Director to exchange ideas and design engaging curriculums and repertoire.
- Motivate young students with your musical passion and teaching expertise.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of vocal technique and music theory.
- Proven experience teaching choral music to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and adults.
- Enthusiastic leadership and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Candidates who are comfortable leading from the piano will be given preference.
