The Runner will be responsible for running errands, distributing information, coordinating announcer arrivals and departures, and handling other show-related tasks as directed. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of basic broadcast operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Operations and Production teams on-site by running errands and distributing information.
  • Coordinate announcer arrivals and departures and assist with other logistical tasks.
  • Be flexible in executing any task assigned, adapting quickly to the needs of the broadcast.
  • Maintain clear communication with the operations team to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Check in and out daily with the operations team to track task completion.

Requirements:

  • Must live within 100 miles of the event site to be considered.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of 8 shows worked as a regional-level runner in live remote productions is required.
  • Must have reliable communication tools (cellphone, text, and email).
  • Must possess a positive, proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the area and venue is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lead other runners during the event.
