Job Description:
Casting Nationwide! We are seeking a talented child actor to play the son or daughter of a “Mermaid family” in an upcoming hotel booking site commercial filming in Thailand. This role requires strong swimming skills and the ability to perform physical comedy. The child must be comfortable swimming with legs constrained to resemble a mermaid tail.

Job Responsibilities:

On-Camera Role: Act as a mermaid child in scenes that require swimming, humor, and a strong physical presence.
Physical Comedy: Show a flair for comedic timing and expressions that will engage audiences.
Swimming Requirements: Perform underwater scenes and swim confidently with legs bound, emulating a mermaid tail.

Requirements:

Age Range: Child actor (no specific age range mentioned, please inquire for clarification)
Swimming Skills: Must be a strong swimmer and comfortable swimming with legs constrained.
Location Availability: Must be willing to travel to Thailand from Nov 19 – Dec 2, including being away over Thanksgiving.
Passport: Valid US passport that does not expire for at least 6 months
Guardian Requirement: One parent or guardian must accompany the child; the trip will be paid for both the child and one guardian.

Compensation:

Session Fee: $700 for 10 hours
Fitting Fee: $75/hour (up to 4 hours)
Travel Day Compensation: $350
Down Day Compensation: $350
Buyout: $7,500 if the talent is in the final edit and content is used (with an optional second-year buyout at a 10% increase)
Print Fee (if used): $2,000, with a 10% increase for the second year
Per Diem: $50 per day
Travel Benefits: Roundtrip Premium Economy airfare and reimbursement for airport transfers in the US (with receipt submission)
