Page Six provides readers with the best in Pop Culture and Entertainment – with signature wit, irreverence and authority averaging 25 million unique viewers a month. For the past 223 years, The Post has evolved into a multi-platform media company spanning print, digital, video, audio, app, television and commerce.

The Page Six video team is seeking a Video & Podcast Producer/Editor to work on our successful series “Virtual Reali-tea.” You will produce and edit an existing series focused on reality TV for various platforms including our website, social channels and podcast platforms. You will produce videos that will be created in our new state of the art studio. You should love celebrity journalism and possess deep knowledge about the latest celebrity gossip, feuds, scandals and hookups. You should live and breathe celebrity and love reality television.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Work in an extremely fast-paced environment enabling producers to hit production targets and goals.

+ Utilize a strong editorial sense and the ability to stay organized while multitasking.

+ Assist on multiple videos throughout the week, taking lead from the EP, lead editor and studio technical director.

+ Edit fast and with a flourish.

+ Utilize expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) as well as Adobe graphic templates.

+ Edit videos for digital platforms using a mix of original footage, stock footage and social media content.

+ Utilize knowledge of working in a studio and control room, cameras and working prompter.

This is a fast-paced job that requires a love of all things celebrity, a strong editorial sense and the ability to stay organized while multitasking. Like us, you believe news doesn’t have to be boring and you appreciate the odd and unconventional stories as well as important ones.

**Qualifications:**

+ 3-4 years experience producing/editing short and long form celebrity videos for digital outlets

+ 1-2 years experience editing podcasts, experience with MegaPhone a plus

+ 1-2 years editing/producing social videos

+ Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere

+ Knowledge of studio sets

+ Knowledge of cameras and control room

+ Ability to color correct and mix audio.

+ Be able to work very quickly under pressure

+ Pitch creative video ideas and contribute to team brainstorming.

+ Experience with multicam editing

+ Motion graphics experience a plus as is simple animation, but not necessary

+ Ability to select and use music to match the tone and style of the story

+ Must be organized, work well in a fast-paced environment and be a team-player.

Strategy & Innovation

  • Supports vendor performance based on the critical analysis of on-time delivery and transit lead time management enabling efficient and thorough customer order fulfilment.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $58,000

Under the direction of the AVP of Communications, the Social Media Coordinator will assist with the creation and editing of engaging content for organic social media that is in alignment with, and promotes, MJHS including our mission, vision, core values, programs, services and people. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, helping grow and refine an effective social media strategy; cultivating MJHS brand ambassadors and influencers; managing the editorial calendar; researching trends; tracking, capturing, and analyzing efforts; monitoring online reviews; and responding to queries in a timely and polite manner. Candidate will follow a hybrid model, working in-office 2 to 3 days most weeks and remotely or in the field the rest.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in social media, PR or marketing
  • Experience supporting the elevation of brands and influencers on social media
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven photography, videography and video editing abilities
  • Proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with tracking, analyzing and reporting communications metrics
  • Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality?
  • Inquisitive and ability to positively connect with others
  • Possess event promotion skills and flexibility to occasionally support evening and weekend events

Overview of the internships

 

We have multiple Sports Social Media internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the NYC area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.

 

This could include, but is not limited to:

  • Bleacher Report Social Media Intern: NYC – Spring 2025
  • House of Highlights Production Intern: NYC – Spring 2025
  • B/R Kicks Social Content Intern: NYC – Spring 2025
  • B/R Gaming Programming Intern: NYC – Spring 2025

 

Your Role Accountabilities

Duties could include:

  • Creating graphics for publishing to B/R’s platforms
  • Communicating with sports teams and fans about using their content with credit
  • Organizing and updating playlists (TikTok and YouTube)
  • Assist in the daily programming of the BR Gaming pages
  • Brainstorm original content offerings
  • Assist in short-form video editing
  • Contribute to weekly Instagram Story publishing and planning

 

Qualifications & Experience

Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)

  • ANY sports experience (class, job, student media, sports page, etc.)
  • Editing/Content creation or social media production experience a plus. Managing and growing your own YT/TKT/IG channel a plus
  • Superb organizational and communications skills
  • Background and knowledge in sneakers is a MUST
  • Some knowledge and understanding of Adobe Premiere
  • Photoshop and web publishing skills also a plus
  • Real familiarity with House of Highlights, Creator League, and Broadcast Boys.
  • Wide understanding of gaming landscape
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA).A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.

  • Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
  • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
  • Interviewing will take place from Octoberthrough December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

As a Social Acquisition Associate, you have a passion for social digital marketing, and you pride yourself on your attention to detail and creative problem solving. You are a people person who enjoys collaboration and teamwork. You come to the table with solutions, not roadblocks.  In this role, you will work directly with Jump clients and Acquisition Managers to develop testing roadmaps that meet client KPIs, analyze historical data, spot trends, opportunities, and problems, and  respond proactively in order to best meet and exceed client goals.  You will be mentored by our elite Acquisition Managers on all aspects of media buying in networks like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google, YouTube, Bing, Outbrain, Taboola and more. Your goal will be to learn and grow as much as you can under our experts and become an Acquisition Manager, managing clients completely on your own.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Help organize and support media strategy and building paid media plans, (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, budgeting, optimizations, etc.)
  • Fulfill executional responsibilities on client accounts (building campaigns, QAing keywords, etc.)
  • Analyze performance data and provide intelligent synthesis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on conclusions
  • Measure and monitor key performance indicators for paid media campaigns
  • Prepare reports and assist your team on presenting results to clients and management.
