Job Description:
We are seeking a Skycam Utility to assist our Technical Operations team with game day operations and strike for remote TV broadcasts. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing the cables and reels attached to the Skycam to prevent tangling and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, the role requires assisting with the setup and strike of equipment, including unloading and loading medium to heavy cases from broadcast trucks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and strike (teardown) of Skycam and related broadcast equipment.
- Monitor and manage the Skycam’s cables and reels to ensure they do not become tangled during operation.
- Help unload and load broadcast equipment from trucks, ensuring all equipment is handled safely and efficiently.
- Work at heights, including climbing and walking on catwalks, as required for the maintenance and management of the Skycam system.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure all Skycam operations are executed smoothly during live broadcasts.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working at heights, including climbing and walking on catwalks.
- Capable of lifting equipment up to 40 lbs.
- Must assist with both the setup and strike phases of the broadcast.
