The independent western “Gilded Splinter” is seeking a local male actor ages 50–75 to portray Mr. McDunnough in Buffalo and Western New York. This nonunion film blends live action, puppetry, miniatures, and handcrafted practical effects.

Mr. McDunnough is a stern, discerning, stubborn, and highly educated newspaper owner. He publishes papers with opposing ethics without seeing any contradiction. The role calls for a performer with presence, intelligence, and a strong character portrayal.

Job Responsibilities

The production is looking for local Hispanic/Latino and mixed-ethnicity talent who can closely match specific cast members for photo-double work.

Job Responsibilities

• Work as a photo double for specific cast members during feature film reshoots.
• Match the required appearance, build, and physical characteristics.
• Follow direction from the production and camera teams.
• Maintain continuity in appearance throughout filming.
• Be available as needed during the production window.
