A non-union TV feature film is casting local background talent for multiple scenes. This holiday-themed production is seeking a wide range of extras to help create lively, authentic environments, including families, restaurant patrons, customers, and dancers. This is a paid opportunity for Buffalo-area residents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Appear as background talent in scripted film scenes

  • Follow on-set direction for continuity and blocking

  • Perform natural background actions appropriate to each setting

Requirements

  • Must be local to the Buffalo, NY area

  • Non-union talent only

Compensation

Job Description
A major motion picture is casting professional stand-ins to support principal actors during filming. These roles are essential for lighting, camera setup, and scene blocking on a large-scale production. Both SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent are encouraged to apply. Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a stand-in for principal or child actors during technical setups

    • Approximate sizing: chest 40–43, waist 34–38, suit 42–44

  • Father Stand-In

    • Male, ages 30–55

    • Height approximately 6’0”–6’1”

    • Caucasian, dark, or salt-and-pepper hair

    • Average build

    • Approximate sizing: waist 32–34, shirt L, suit 42

  • Adult Stand-In for Child Actor

    • Male or female, 18+

    • Height approximately 4’3”–4’5”

    • Slender build

    • Blonde, dirty blonde, or brunette hair

Compensation

  • SAG-AFTRA background scale

  • Guaranteed daily rate
