Reel Security Corporation of Georgia specializes in security for production companies (TV, Film, and Commercials) whenever they work outside their studios and are “On Location.” Reel Security Corporation is the most unique, elite production service specializing in film and television security in the industry.

Position Summary:

The primary function of a Reel Security Corporation of Georgia guard is customer service first, prevention of crime, and creating a visible deterrence. REEL Security production set security officers are primarily protecting valuable production company property in temporary outdoor locations. Security officers assist with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures for clients and the general public and protect property from theft or damage. Other duties may include patrols client areas to detect potential unsecured property. Obtains information on incidents that occur on a post and writes incident reports. Assists client location management and enforcement officers in possible emergencies. May stand post or be a rover as assigned.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

Officers monitors and protects client property at temporary sites from intrusion and theft. Patrols client areas to detect potential unsecured property.
Obtains information of out-of-the-ordinary incidents and writes incident reports.
Assists client location management and enforcement officers in possible emergencies.
Monitors temporary no parking posting to inform the public of the signage to ensure the parking area remains clear.
Monitors client’s temporary sites to prevent trespassing.
All posts are temporary, and all scheduling is done on call. In Production Security, there are no fixed schedules.
Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities. Monitors surveillance cameras, inspect the property, and monitors crowds.
After business hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

A reliable means of private Transportation is “own vehicle.”
A reliable means of communication, “smartphone”
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Authoritative verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
A history of Lawful conduct

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience Entertainment Industry Set Security officer (recommended)
Unarmed security guards are not required to be registered but are required to be trained in accordance with the Rules of the Private Detective and Security Agencies Board.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
Officers may be required to lift up to 25 pounds with the direction of a supervisor.

Personal Appearance Requirement:

All employees are expected to maintain the highest level of personal grooming and appearance.
Black Pants or Black Shorts (knee length), slacks, cargo pants; Dickies.
Black closed-toe & closed-back shoes, boots, or sneakers.
Salary Our pay is biweekly:

$8.58 for the first 8 hours/overtime every day at a rate of $12.87 for any hours worked in excess of 8 in any shift
When you work a 12-hour shift, this works out to $120.00 per shift
If you happen to work longer than 12 hours, any hours worked in excess of 12 in any shift are paid at a premium rate of $15.00 per hour.
Flexible schedule
Candidates will be required to pass background checks.
