A non-union scene recreation inspired by What to Expect When You’re Expecting is seeking a Gaffer in Bushwick, New York. The Gaffer will work alongside the Director of Photography to execute the lighting approach and help create a polished, professional look for the scene. This is an unpaid opportunity with professionally recorded footage provided for reel use.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in executing the production’s lighting setup.
- Work closely with the Director of Photography on the desired visual look.
- Set up, adjust, and manage lighting equipment during filming.
- Help maintain lighting continuity between shots.
- Follow technical and creative direction from the production team.
Requirements
- Experience with film lighting or as a Gaffer preferred.
- Submit relevant work samples or a reel.
- Include available lighting equipment if applicable.
- Non-union production.
Compensation
- Unpaid.
