1. Sander (previously Alby) – Male. Late 50s. Unmarried. Two Children (Rachel and Drop-D).
Restaurant owner/Boss. He was born in the Netherlands and emigrated to the United States as a child. Following high school, he served in the Vietnam war which left him with a dark past. Sander is addicted to pills and a severe alcoholic who loves collecting and using guns. He is attracted to risk leading him to sell out his retirement in order to buy this restaurant. He is driven by his desire to make fat stacks of cash but also likes to avoid taxes as much as possible. Think: John Lithgow (AUDITION PAGE 6 or 7) $300/day for 3 Days.
2. Babs – Female. Mid 20s. Single. No children. Hostess. Maggie is a high school drop out who is exceedingly personable in an awkward way. She was sexually abused as a child & has a “daddy complex.” While not a huge drinker, she will partake socially, but her main vice is weed & lots of it. (AUDITION PAGE 9). $150/dy for 2 Days.
3. Whitey – Male. Late 20s. Single. No children. Son of Sander, Brother to Renate. Cook. A highly introverted guy, Whitey takes a kitchen role to avoid the front of house. He got a college degree out of obligation to his father rather than wanting to do it for himself, which is why he gravitates toward the family business & avoids going out to get a job on his own. He is a procrastinator. Think : Kurt Warner (AUDITION PAGE 10) $150/dy for 3-4 Days.
4. Solomon “Sol” Colfax – 1 day. – Male. Age 32. Single. No Children. Assistant Property Manager. The child of the property owner, Sol is essentially a caricature who’s attitudes and beliefs could be best described by the comedic character Andrew “Dice” Clay. He is driven by his sense of false power and is too comfortable with sexual harassment of women, and he would be a womanizer although most women find him to be a joke instead of a man they would want to spend time with. Daddy bought his education, and he holds an MBA from Alfred University. Think: Jake Gyllenhall (AUDITION PAGE 5) $150/day – 1 day
5.. Juggalo #1 (speaking role) – 1 day – friends who love the Insane Clown Posse so much that they wear clown makeup and capes in public and call themselves “Juggalos.”(AUDITION PAGE 4) $150/day for 1 day
