Diverse Voices is a performing art in education charity providing arts-based education, furthering young people’s life skills and confidence, and addressing relevant, topical issues prioritized within schools and educational settings. 

We work with a pool of freelance facilitators and creatives annually, providing paid roles and opportunities in our education programs. We are looking to recruit a wide variety of new facilitators to work with.

We are actively seeking people with a passion for the arts with equal amounts of creativity, patience, experience & energy. Diverse Voices encourages applications from currently under-represented people, particularly in terms of ethnic and disability diversity.

The following is required:

– Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 2-3 years (as of February 2023) – or if not, willingness to undergo DBS check
– Desire to work in locations in London and Greater London
– Reliability and punctuality
– Experience in working with young people
– Experience in performing arts
– Open and willing to learn new skills and have fun

We are looking for a varied group of actors, facilitators, dancers, musicians, and creatives from a wide variety of backgrounds – and would especially like to encourage facilitators who identify as male or non-binary to apply.

Our roles vary from a few hours for a workshop/performance (plus training/rehearsal) to more permanent 7-week commitments. They are all paid functions supported by our core team – including workshops & safeguarding training, and more.

We are looking for creatives with professionalism, empathy, energy, and passion for successfully supporting our children and young people.

Job Description

Dublin Show Productions is casting a lead role for an upcoming stage production. The production is seeking a UK-based actor/singer to play Danny, a fun-loving, whiskey-drinking Dublin fisherman who loves to sing. This is an established, ongoing production and requires a performer who can confidently carry a lead role with strong vocal performance and an authentic Dublin sound.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform as the lead character “Danny” in a live stage production.

  • Deliver a consistent, engaging performance across multiple shows and tour stops.

  • Sing live with a strong tenor voice and maintain vocal stamina across performances.

  • Use or reproduce a Dublin dialect as required for the role.

  • Work professionally with the production team, cast, and crew during rehearsals and performances.

Requirements

  • Male, age range 35–65.

  • White/European descent (as specified by the casting).

  • Strong tenor singing voice.

  • Ability to perform with a Dublin dialect.

  • Must be UK-based and able to tour nationwide as needed.

  • Must have a valid driving licence and passport.

  • Non-Union.

Compensation Details

£300 per show.

Bears Bears Bears (R&D Stage Production)

Job Description
A paid R&D theatre opportunity is now casting actors for an upcoming development week of a new stage production. This project is seeking strong performers who can bring sharp character work, natural comedy, and grounded emotion to a contemporary play setting. Actors from underrepresented backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be based in Greater Manchester, with rehearsals/auditions taking place in Manchester City Centre.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted scenes for an R&D development process ahead of a future premiere.

  • Collaborate with the creative team in readings, scene work, and exploratory staging.

  • Take direction, adjust performance choices quickly, and support an ensemble environment.

  • Bring clear character specificity, timing, and truthful emotional beats to the work.

Requirements

  • Must be Greater Manchester-based and able to work in Manchester City Centre.

  • Seeking actors to play ages 30–35 for the following roles:

    • Jen: confident, dry-witted, funny, impulsive, creative/arty appearance.

    • Jake: sarcastic, self-conscious, self-deprecating, outdoorsy, hipster vibe.

    • Jodi: wears her heart on her sleeve, a little naive, modest, always well-groomed.

  • Performance materials typically requested include a Spotlight link and CV and/or showreel.
