An exciting opportunity is available for an Assistant Editor to join the post-production team for Season 2 of the documentary series My Pet Ate What?. This position involves working in an Avid Media Composer environment to support editors and producers by preparing and organizing media, managing workflows, and ensuring smooth post-production operations. The role demands technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced schedule of multiple half-hour episodes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ingest, organize, and sync footage in Avid Media Composer

  • Maintain and update project bins, media, and sequences

  • Prepare projects for offline and online editing, including turnover to finishing

  • Ensure all media and projects are properly backed up and archived

  • Apply network naming conventions, version control, and file management protocols

  • Export cuts for internal reviews, deliveries, and legal/compliance checks

  • Track and incorporate editorial notes from producers and story editors

  • Assist with pull requests, stock footage, and archival material sourcing

  • Coordinate episode schedules and deadlines with the post team

  • Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the Post Supervisor and Lead Assistant Editor

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Avid Media Composer (required)

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Editor in television or documentary production

  • Strong organizational and media management skills

  • Knowledge of offline/online workflows and conform processes

  • Familiarity with legal clearance processes for visuals and audio (preferred)

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Compensation

About the RoleWe are seeking an Brand Ambassador – Marketing Events to be YuJa’s Ambassador in all webinar and conference initiatives. This role will drive engagement, lead generation, and brand presence through virtual and in-person events. The ideal candidate is confident in front of the camera, comfortable speaking and presenting, and has strong content creation and communication skills. Travel to conference venues, including international events, will be required. Key Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and host webinars and 15 to 20 on-site conferences per year, from concept to completion in collaboration with the Marketing team members.
