Job Responsibilities

Ingest, organize, and sync footage in Avid Media Composer

Maintain and update project bins, media, and sequences

Prepare projects for offline and online editing, including turnover to finishing

Ensure all media and projects are properly backed up and archived

Apply network naming conventions, version control, and file management protocols

Export cuts for internal reviews, deliveries, and legal/compliance checks

Track and incorporate editorial notes from producers and story editors

Assist with pull requests, stock footage, and archival material sourcing

Coordinate episode schedules and deadlines with the post team

Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the Post Supervisor and Lead Assistant Editor
