The Role:
The Manager, Influencer Relations will report to the Director, Influencer Marketing and Talent Relations and will be based in Los Angeles. The role is responsible for authentically building and developing key relationships with influencers, makeup artists, celebrities etc, to grow Milk Makeup’s share of voice & organic reach in line with our values, positioning and objectives. They will do this by cultivating their industry connections to build strong relationships with key influencers, agencies and agents while also identifying and developing up and coming talent. The best candidate will have an innovative mindset, finding creative ways to grow Milk Makeup’s brand reach organically through content creation, brand + product amplification and education.
How you’ll THRIVE
- Consistent relationship cultivation, development and maintenance with talent. 70% of time should be spent on entertainment (in post COVID)
- Identify and nurture up-and-coming influencers, building authentic relationships to garner consistent content and media value
- Maintain up to date expertise on the ever-changing influencer industry. Utilize this expertise to attract a new diversified supporter audience to Milk Makeup, ensuring the sustainability of our follower support for the future.
- Identify prospective influencers by leveraging contractor and entertainment industry contacts.
- Develop best practices for Milk Makeup and build innovative programs and partnerships to expand community, deepen existing relationship and scale content creation, traffic and sales exploding engagement and advocacy
- Drive the expansion and impact of MMU’s micro influencer program
- Drive an always-on events calendar with MMU community, to ensure our community is always engaged, talking about Milk and generating EMV.
- Act as ambassador for the brand, driving MILK Makeup DNA + product education/artistry with influencer community
- Oversee ongoing gifting efforts for all talent including influencers, makeup artists, VIP, etc.
- Assist in developing earned strategy, management of budgets, planning and impact against different influencer tiers.
- Measure and report on influencer program performance and KPIs; share results, insights and future recommendations with cross-functional teams and leaders on an ongoing basis.
- Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic key relationships and cultural partners in international markets.
We would like YOU to have:
- Minimum 3-5 years marketing, influencer, PR and/or digital experience required at least 2 year digital influencer experience preferred
- Exceptional existing relationships with top-tier influencers, makeup artists and talent agents + managers.
- Deep understanding of program ideation, execution and scaling
- A passion for social media & the beauty industry and knowledge & interest of beauty content & creators on YouTube & social media
- Excellent analytics & operational skills

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. They are responsible for maintaining the company’s production assets and working with the department production calendar so that equipment is ready for each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support production staff with variety of projects using production gear including various models of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear related to shooting.
- Work with Production team to build sets for production needs.
- Assist with general duties.
- Maintaining production equipment before and after projects.
- Coordinate the tracking of all production assets.
- Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
- Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
- Ingest media into company’s archiving system and prepare media for Editors.
- Log footage and edit basic to intermediate level projects.
- Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
