Creative Director
The Creative Director’s primary role is to lead the Agency’s creative projects across multiple mediums, including digital, out-of-home / large format print, and experiential. You’ll work to deliver big ideas for brand campaigns – from concept to execution, and you’ll be counted on to lead and manage the creative department (designers, strategists and content producers) on a day-to-day basis. The Creative Director should have a design-heavy background and strong history of winning creative assignments through conceptual work / pitch decks.
This is a full-time, in-office role located in Columbus, Ohio. This role reports to the Managing Director.
Creative responsibilities include:
- Team management and organizational efficiency, ability to delegate and deliver projects on deadline
- Creator of original designs in product work (design systems, brand implementation, campaign visuals)
- Ability to make design and art direction decisions across all platforms
- Accountable for agency creative product
- Lead creative ideation and concept development
- Ability to refine layouts, images and fonts
- Ability to deliver concepts and mock-ups for new business and pitch concepts
Necessary Qualifications / Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in a Design-heavy role in an agency setting
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in Visual Communications or Graphic Design programs
- Thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite – specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must demonstrate strong conceptual abilities and possess a deep passion and understanding of design
- Must be a diverse, agile and open-minded designer
