The Interactive Art Director will be responsible for producing quality graphics, layouts and executing the animation and editing of video content for social media. This role will work in tandem with the broader creative team to help bring the overall brand vision and execution to life on social media. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working mostly independently, as well as with other Art Directors and Creative Directors. This person should have strong After Effects and Video editing experience to bring their graphic designs to life in mobile first creative resolutions. The role will report into a Creative Director.
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- You’re a storyteller who can concept, build, animate and edit a wide range of video content, long and short form narrative, etc.
- Collaborate with various creative and digital teams to ensure all brand initiatives are in sync.
- Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas for social media specific formats. Take work from concept with Creative Director to final execution within deadlines.
- Tight timelines don’t stress you out, in fact you thrive on them.
- You take initiative, are a proactive thinker, and provide creative solutions.
- Edit footage according to final scripts, storyboards or guidance from supervising editors or the creative director, for social media platforms.
- You are organized and have excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize, troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently.
- Maintain proactive communication with the Creative team and Project Manager to assure client needs are being met in a timely manner while maintaining expected quality.
- Address all agency and/or client changes throughout the approval process.
- Help maintain a shared media storage and asset management environment.
- Own any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
- You will be able to concept, build and execute ideas based on optimized monthly strategy to exceed client’s business objectives and initiatives for their social media account as needed.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all brand initiatives, product launches, monthly campaigns and paid initiatives.
- Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
- Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Proficient with Mac computers and media management.
- Agency or Studio experience 3+ years, with social media content being priority within your portfolio.
- An on-trend aesthetic, technical skill and knowledge of current content trends.
- Team player with a small ego who’s always ready to get their hands dirty.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in their work.
- Developed creative senses and strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, video editing and layout.
- Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
- Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background.
