We are seeking a talented and motivated Creative Director to join our dynamic marketing team. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of graphic design acumen, along with capabilities in video editing, motion graphics, and UI/UX design. You will take the initial concept of a project, engage with team members to refine it, and bring it to life across a variety of media.

 

Responsibilities

 

Graphic Design

  • Interpret project concepts and collaborate with team members to determine layout designs.
  • Develop graphic elements for a wide range of platforms, including web pages, digital ads, email campaigns, print collateral, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, signage, social media, and more.
  • Use digital illustration, photo editing, and layout software to create compelling visuals.
  • Generate concepts or rough drafts, discuss with the team, and refine based on feedback to align with marketing goals.
  • Uphold and protect the GOBEL brand by consistently following established brand guidelines and requirements.

 

Video Editing

  • Partner with the creative team to ideate and produce engaging video content consistent with brand and marketing goals.
  • Assemble raw footage using leading video editing software, prioritizing logical sequencing for a polished final product.
  • Trim, cut, and sequence video clips to craft a compelling narrative.
  • Design and implement motion graphics for various video outputs, such as corporate presentations, eLearning modules, websites, and marketing showcases.
  • Add animated graphics and text to enrich video content.
  • Contribute to video content strategy by assisting in the creation of content calendars, conceptualizing campaigns, and integrating video into broader marketing initiatives.

 

UX UI Design

  • Craft wireframes for web and mobile platforms to illustrate content structure and feature layout.
  • Create and sustain design systems, style guides, and UI toolkits, ensuring a consistent design language across all products.
  • Transform wireframes and prototypes into visually striking and functional designs that align with brand standards.

 

Web Design

  • Design and refine website templates, emphasizing consistency and ease of content updates.
  • Regularly refresh web content, ensuring all elements, from graphics to text and links, remain up-to-date and operational.
  • Engage with CMS platforms, notably WordPress, to apply designs and update content.
  • Infuse SEO considerations into web element design, ensuring designs bolster, not impede, optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to achieve unified and effective web presentations.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Skilled in video editing and motion graphics, especially with Premiere Pro.
  • Expertise in UI/UX design, particularly Adobe XD.
  • Solid understanding of front-end languages like HTML and CSS, as well as familiarity with WordPress and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proven organizational skills; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and team-oriented, able to manage a hefty workload.
  • Portfolio that displays a range of projects, highlighting creativity and innovation.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Competent in estimating project timelines and meeting commitments.
  • Experience with project management tools, preferably Wrike.
  • Knowledgeable about web and mobile design standards and best practices.
  • Understanding of branding principles and ability to align designs with company branding.
  • Awareness of business metrics and how design influences business performance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Openness to taking on special projects as required.

GOBEL offers compensation in the range of $65,000 – $75,000 based on experience, with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus. In addition, GOBEL offers excellent healthcare, including company-paid employee coverage for medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, disability, and life insurance, and retirement savings plan (401k) with a company match. We also provide twenty (20) days of annual paid time off, and twelve (12) paid holidays.
