As a freelance assistant producer at ZINC Network, you are responsible for facilitating the production of short-form video content and influencer content for an exciting new campaign.
Based in London and reporting to the Producer, you will be responsible for suggesting and researching stories; setting up shoots in different countries; organising logistics; assisting on location as required; and overseeing edits. You may also be asked to write scripts and keep production trackers and schedules updated. You will also be responsible for helping find and onboard influencers, presenters, and other talent to take part in the campaign.
With a passion for YouTube and social media and several years’ experience of video and TV production at a professional level, you will be resourceful, curious, and brimming with ideas.
You will also be passionate about politics and social issues, and able to communicate them in a simple and effective way. Your first-class research and production skills will ensure that content for the campaign is creative, editorially robust and fits the brief. This is a fast-paced campaign with an intense production schedule, so you’ll need to be organised, efficient and with a can-do attitude to meeting deadlines.
You are expected to:
- Generate creative short-form video ideas
- Research stories, contributors, and archive
- Write scripts as required
- Coordinate with local production team, contributors, influencers, and partners
- Organise logistics of shoots
- Maintain schedules and trackers
- Prepare PowerPoints
- Oversee edits as required
- Assist on shoots as required
- Help identify and onboard relevant influencers for the project
- Work with the influencers to shape their ideas and edits
- Build and maintain an excellent relationship with our influencers, including troubleshooting where problems arise
- Identify relevant news stories and video trends

- Understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms, video production, and current affairs
- Excellent research skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
