Production Designer, e-Commerce, Digital Experience Activation
Overview:
Our client looking for a Production Designer who can produce high-fidelity comps in tools like Figma and Photoshop, showcasing key landing page and site module experiences for their .com eCommerce websites.
Importantly, this person will be providing mockups based on functionality that is already available in client’s platform’s Content Management system. This means, you will need to become familiar with the modules that exist in client’s platform library, and design according to these parameters. Additionally, you will be proficient in selecting and preparing assets (cropping, creating Mp4s, etc) in preparation for upload in the Content Management Tool, and therefore should be familiar with how to create assets for optimal web performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop high fidelity mockups (comps) and assets that align with established brand style guidelines and business objectives for various ecommerce clients in different categories.
Prepare assets (mostly will leverage raw assets from existing brand libraries) for optimal web performance in the form of MP4s, gifs, jpgs, etc.
Major bonus if you have a knack for copy writing and content strategy (ie; being able to suggest punchy copy that aligns with brand story and mission).
Partner with content and creative team to ensure standards, templates, and approaches to asset development is aligned and synchronized.
Edit existing designs to ensure visual style consistency across different brands.
Successfully prioritize assignments and manage appropriate timelines and deliverables with attention to detail.
Communicate often with internal and external (brand/client) teams – and present your work.
