Job Title: Creative Director 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Creative Director to join the leadership team of our digital marketing agency that serves the industrial sector. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for guiding our creative work and delivering results for our clients. As a small but rapidly growing agency, you will be a member of the leadership team and play an important role in scaling the company.  

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy: Develop and execute the creative vision, strategies, and concepts for our industrial clients, ensuring alignment with their brand identities, marketing goals, and target audiences.
  2. Leadership: Participate on the company’s leadership team while also guiding the creative team and participating in writing, design, and other creative processes.
  3. Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements, goals, and preferences, offering creative recommendations and solutions that drive engagement and resonate with their target customers.
  4. Design: Facilitate the creation of visually appealing and effective designs, including website layouts, landing pages, digital ads, infographics, and other marketing collateral.
  5. Copywriting: Facilitate the creation of compelling and persuasive copy across various digital channels, including websites, email campaigns, social media, blogs, and advertisements, maintaining consistent messaging and brand voice. 
  6. Technology: Incorporate the use of technology, including AI, to enhance our creative processes.
  7. Branding and Identity: Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all creative outputs, collaborating with clients to develop and enhance their visual identities, logos, and overall brand presence.
  8. Management Responsibilities: As a key member of the leadership team for a start-up digital agency, contribute to various management responsibilities to help the company meet growth and client acquisition goals. 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing in design, copywriting, or similar creative roles with leadership responsibilities. 
  3. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects, demonstrating exceptional copywriting and/or design skills.
  4. Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), AI writing tools, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  5. Understanding of industrial B2B marketing dynamics, buyer personas, and the ability to translate complex technical information into compelling and accessible marketing messages.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. 
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey creative concepts, influence clients, and build strong relationships.
  8. Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, solve problems, and develop innovative solutions that address clients’ marketing challenges.
  9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  10. A passion for creativity and a desire to help grow a new business.
