NBC News group is looking for an Associate Producer to join the DEI team!
In this role you will get to produce video content and appropriate elements for NBCU Academy internal and external training and development programs, panels and presentations. We will lean on you to create content for NBC Academy on any platform online, in-person or virtual for NBC Academy external/internal participants and on demand engagement experiences. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review and evaluate submitted materials to NBCU Academy for the NBCU News Group
- Monitor online message boards and NBCU Academy social media accounts, Tiktok, and YouTube channel
- Research, book & pre-interview external and internal guests for NBC Academy events
- Contribute to Sharepoint organization and workflows
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 3+ years of experience in media, preferably news

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends.
Desired Characteristics:
• Interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts; experience in DEI work a plus
• Sound journalistic judgment.

• Experience working with editorial partners, other internal departments and external contacts.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure and meet multiple daily deadlines.
•Social media & marketing experience a plus.
Salary range: $65,000-$80,000
