Job Summary:

WABC-TV, the flagship Disney/ABC – owned television station in New York, is the most-watched television station in the New York Television market and the United States. WABC also leads the market in station websites and has the highest social media engagement.
Channel 7’s Creative Services Department functions as an in-house advertising agency promoting all programming on WABC-TV, including the highly-rated Eyewitness News, and the abc7NY digital brands. Job Summary:

Disney Parks, Experiences & Products Technology & Digital (DPEP) is a website application design, development, and support group that builds and maintains the websites and applications supporting Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, such as disneyworld.com, disneyland.com, disneycruise.com, aulani.com, and disneyparks.com. This position is for an experienced Producer eager to play an integral role on the Production Operations team at DPEP.

The Production Operations team is accountable for the successful daily operation of the sites and apps during all hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays when scheduled for on-call duty, or when emergent need arises), must aid in estimating the necessary funding and level of effort for minor to medium operations efforts and enhancements, make recommendations for best execution options, interact with business partners, product owners, and creative and technology team members to quickly turn around requests for changes, and build out pages and changes in the Content Management System (CMS). Requests can range from quick efforts such as copy and image swap-outs or vanity URL requests, to building new detail pages or new site sections, performing content entry for large projects, or troubleshooting issues on the websites. Level of effort for the types of requests usually ranges from one hour to six weeks of effort. The work occurs under the direction of Production leadership and more senior Producers, as well as working under direction of Product Managers for content and e-commerce website strategy best practices.

Responsibilities:

Daily activities include the review and comprehension of work requests created and assigned in Jira, clearly communicate requests to and schedule the work of creative resources needed to complete specific tasks (e.g., web developers, copywriters, etc.), utilize established processes to obtain applicable approvals at all levels of development, making updates in the CMS, ensuring requests are completed in a timely manner, working in priority order as determined by Agile methodology, communicating status and roadblocks in daily scrum, interacting with business partners, application vendors, and all internal departments including the ability to communicate effectively with resources of all levels, from entry level interns to senior leadership. This role also has the opportunity to contribute to recommendations for solutions and best ways to execute on requests.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or significant work experience
  • Previous experience as a Digital Producer
  • Experience working with content management systems and building websites, including daily updating of copy and images for sites, building out new pages, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working in at least one of the following:
    • eCommerce sites with responsibility for product and pricing load, and experience with troubleshooting issues and understanding complex eCommerce-related integrations with other applications
    • Large, complex marketing sites with calendar, feature listings, faceted listings, and feeds from other systems

The Cinderella Company is now hiring experienced female & male performers who can portray storybook and/or action heroes and who have a theatrical and/or vocal background.

We have several positions available all throughout the Northern Ca Region: Sacramento, East Bay, South Bay, and Sonoma.

SCAD seeks a Video and Film Writer and Producer to help develop narrative writing that communicates the university’s brand, goals, and stories on film.
In this position, you will conceive, write, and pitch story ideas, developing approved concepts into production-feasible, fully planned projects and finished products. You will conduct research for all assignments and projects as appropriate, conceptualize stories, and develop treatments and pitch decks for film projects. You will also present story treatment to leadership and stakeholders, preparing support materials for production such as background information, responses to interview questions, and remarks as needed.
Once film projects are approved, you will manage the story arc and work toward continued development, identifying set locations and hiring or appointing members of the technical crew and cast where appropriate. You will work closely with alumni, students, and internal teams to execute films at a high level, motivating actors or participants to produce their best performance and ensure strong imagery that supports the story.
As the point person on these projects, you will be expected to understand the story and narrative style to deliver the best product and provide on-set participants with needed information and on-screen coaching when necessary. You will coordinate the camera crew, art directors, costume designers, and musical composer to ensure a consistent creative execution while filming and with a film editor to complete the finished film.
The ideal candidate has experience working within budgetary constraints, adhering to production schedules, and managing culture and decorum on set. You should have exceptional interpersonal skills, respond positively to feedback, be willing to make changes, and be able to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Director of Artist Engagement, the Communications Artist & Influencer Intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working alongside the Artist and Influencer Team and learning the ins and outs of artist relations from a nonprofit perspective.

  • Time Commitment: A Summer internship requires a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week. A Fall or Winter/Spring internship requires a part-time or full-time commitment of 10, 15, 20, or 35 hours per week*
  • Internship Duration: Part-time internships are a 12-week period and full-time internships are a 10-week period. Winter/Spring interns are expected to start January 18 or January 31, 2022
    • Winter/Spring: January – April
  • Stipend: A stipend is available for those students who do not receive course credit. Students who receive outside funding are eligible for a partial stipend to bring their total funding up to the level of ACLU’s stipend amount for that term, if applicable. Arrangements can be made with educational institutions for work/study or course credit. Below is the stipend breakdown by term:
    • Winter/Spring/Fall: Stipends are calculated on number of hours and weeks worked. The hourly rate is $18.57 for undergraduate students or equivalent experience and $21.42 for graduate, law, and PhD students or equivalent experience.
