Job Description
As an Artistic Director Visual Design at Ubi MTL, you are in charge of the quality and content of graphic and audiovisual productions. You will ensure that the elements produced are aligned with the game’s vision and propose creative and innovative ideas and concepts.
Collaborating closely with artists and designers across production teams, you’ll support them in pushing concepts further, producing consistent work, and enhancing player experiences through impactful visuals.
What you’ll do
- Propose graphic or audiovisual concepts based on the client’s brief in the form of a synopsis, mood board or sketch.
- Define the artistic style of the graphic or audiovisual mandate inspired from the game’s artistic direction (reference films, competing games and design documents).
- Ensure that the artistic vision is communicated through the visual identity.
- Create lit and original concepts that support the game’s positioning with the various project teams.
- Communicate expectations to the production team assigned to the mandate and ensure the quality and content of the ambiances, sets, characters, narration, etc. using visual references and documents that describe the artistic direction.
- Follow up and validate the team’s finished work so the elements produced are in line with the initial brief and the game’s vision, and ensure that the quality is respected.
- Work directly with the project director and artists.
- Produce documents such as GAP (Game Artistic Personality), brief, guide style.
Qualifications
What you bring
- Around 10 years of UI, visual design, branding, or art direction experience (in the video game industry, a huge plus) or other relevant experience
- A degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Multimedia, or equivalent
- An understanding of art fundamentals and artistic culture
- In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and 3D software (e.g. 3DS Max)
- The ability to give constructive feedback and to convey an artistic direction + make it a shared goal
- A highly creative, collaborative, and innovative spirit

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in advertising, with a focus on ideation and concepting for brand acts, stunts, and storytelling. You have experience as an Art Director with a proven track record of leading other Designers and stewarding brands.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing examples of work you have created yourself, as well as work created by a team you managed. Your portfolio includes examples of strategic/conceptual thinking, visual design, and storytelling, and innovative social work that elevates the medium.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of creative leadership, great interpersonal skills and animation production experience at a senior level, who is excited by the prospect of setting the visual direction for this ambitious movie in close collaboration with the director and production designer.
- Driving and managing the visual development of all of the movie’s design requirements.

We’re looking for a motivated manager to join this well established and hugely successful gallery in Taunton. Selling a range of high-end artwork from well-known and up and coming artists. Your Industry background is less important as someone with excellent sales ability, top-quality people skills and management experience would suit this role. Thorough Training will be given so knowledge in this field isn’t a requirement.
Some duties of the role will include:
- Maintaining relationships with the existing loyal customer base and establish new business.
- Manage the day to day running of the premises which including managing the rotas and maintaining high visual standards.
- Engage with customers entering the premises with a consultative approach that’s informative but not pushy.
- Using the database to inform customers of new arrivals or establish requirements for a new purchase.
- Develop and mentor the small team of consultants.
- Supporting with exclusive events.
- Occasional visits to client’s homes or workspaces to establish their needs.
The ideal candidate would be:
- A hard-working and tenacious professional who has a natural sales ability.
- Someone who is comfortable selling over the phone as well as face to face.
- A good communicator with leadership experience.
- Someone who has worked with high value items or with a premium product ideally, but a good attitude and people skills are more important.
In return there’s a good base salary with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission which is incredibly achievable and has the potential to be very lucrative. For the right person with the right attitude there are plenty of opportunities for progression within the business. You’ll be working five days out of seven, which will include Saturdays and the occasional Sunday.

The SVP, Group Creative Director/Copy is responsible for ensuring that all Agency work is on strategy and meets or exceeds the highest level of creative accomplishment. The SVP, Group Creative Director contributes to growing the Clients’ business. They act as the EVP, Executive Creative Director’s right hand and is able to step in to fulfill these functions when necessary. The SVP, Group Creative Director/Copy also acts an advocate for Biolumina. The SVP, GCD helps to identify and recruit new talent as well as provides leadership and guidance within their department.

- Keep supervisor or department head appraised of any workload challenges/concerns on assigned team accounts that may necessitate hiring freelancers or moving creatives around to better utilize their time
- Oversee team’s time off schedules, time reporting, etc. to ensure appropriate coverage at all times for accounts. Maintain accurate time sheets for self and team. Monitor, review and approve direct report’s time sheets in terms of hours worked on specific jobs
Senior Vice-President Responsibilities

The Role
