We are seeking a talented and passionate Creative Director to join the leadership team of our digital marketing agency that serves the industrial sector. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for guiding our creative work and delivering results for our clients. Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing in design, copywriting, or similar creative roles with leadership responsibilities. 
  3. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects, demonstrating exceptional copywriting and/or design skills.
  4. Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), AI writing tools, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.

Currents News is looking for an experienced, ambitious, and creative journalist who can jump into a fast-paced newsroom environment to be the executive producer of NET-TV’s flagship news program. Currents News covers secular and faith-based news for a Catholic audience in the New York market with plans to syndicate to a national audience. The ideal candidate is someone who is searching to step off the news merry-go-round of covering crime, accidents, and fires, and leap into the world of engaging, inspirational and in-depth story-telling. The EP will thrive in a multi-platform environment and help to execute the organization’s mission. You will be in charge of managing the newsroom, supervise talent and producers, work with the assignment desk editor, and collaborate with managers from other platforms. You will participate in the editorial meetings, pitch stories, approve the rundown and scripts, and mentor a group of producers and reporters. You will supervise and monitor the recording of the newscast in the control room and booth live coverage of breaking news events.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the stacking of the rundown and ensure that scripts are well-written, accurate and updated throughout the day.
  • Work closely with the assignment desk editor to communicate story and information needs
  • Write vos, anchor leads, teases and topical promos.
  • Attend editorial meetings and pitch stories.
  • Hire and train and mentor producers and reporters, approve vacation requests, work with news coordinator to schedule freelancers, as needed.

How You’ll Impact

This role will lead all projects across the Creative department and guide team members through day-to-day creative tasks:

  • Content Creation Design (Design, Execute, and Edit digital content in interactive formats such as gifs, graphic posts, short videos, etc)

Responsibilities

Our Creative Director will report to our home office in Columbus, Ohio and will be responsible for managing creative projects for Rise Brands and its family of brands. This position reports to our Marketing + Creative leader. The job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, aligning team and company goals to increase sales and enhance guest experience
  • Conceptualize campaigns and creative needs; lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate new ideas/creative direction for new and existing concepts across a multitude of tactics (e.g. digital, print, video, in-store experiences)
  • Direct and provide precise feedback/direction on all creative campaigns
  • Provide active leadership and timely coaching + development to a team of 5-6 creative professionals
  • Work with Leadership and HR to evaluate and identify staffing needs for the creative team structure and lead talent acquisition efforts for future creative roles
