Casting Call: “Guiding Stories” – Docu-Style Video

Job Detail: We are seeking real individuals across Western Canada & Ontario, aged 25 to 55, who have compelling life experiences, inner reflections, and unique stories to share. This project aims to capture the narratives that have shaped your journey, and how they influence your perception of the world.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Share personal experiences, inner thoughts, and the stories that have had a profound impact on your life.
  • Be comfortable with on-camera interviews and filming sessions.

Requirements:

  • Age: 25 to 55
  • Must be a resident of Western Canada or Ontario.
  • No acting experience required.
  • Outgoing and at ease in front of the camera.

Compensation Details:

  • Selected individuals will receive a compensation of $3000.
  • An additional $1000 will be provided if the production team films at the talent’s home.

Project Information: This is a non-union project with a focus on storytelling for a well-being insights company. The narrative explores how personal stories shape our self-identity, decision-making process, and the overall trajectory of our lives.

TBC Shoot Date: The shoot is scheduled for the week of October 23rd or November 6th, 2023. It will be a one-day commitment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality content in the form of recipe videos, beauty tutorials, and lifestyle videos based on brand guidelines.
  • Conceptualize and execute engaging video content, including cooking demonstrations, food hacks, health and fitness tips, and international cuisine exploration.
  • Ensure videos are well-edited with attention to detail, adhering to brand specifications.
  • Provide voiceover narration for each video, delivering clear and engaging content.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  1. [DO-JANG]

    • Role: Taekwondo Instructor
    • Age Range: 60s-70s
    • Description: “Do-Jang” is an insightful and clever Taekwondo instructor with decades of teaching experience. They maintain a youthful appearance and prowess, reminiscent of the 90s. While Camille remembers Do-Jang as a strict teacher and even a bit of a bully, Do-Jang sees things differently and recognizes the need to help Camille process her trauma.
    • Principal Role: Tentatively recurring in 2 episodes.

    Special Note:

    • Seeking talent with some athletic ability, as the role involves light Taekwondo movements/choreography. Prior experience in Taekwondo is a plus, though not mandatory.
