ABOUT THE MARKETING + COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT

The Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Department at BBB National Programs is a high-performing, mission-driven team of marketing and communications professionals who play a vital role in supporting the organization’s operations and mission. MarCom is an agile, agency-like team responsible for the cohesive communication and promotion to external audiences of BBB National Programs and its more than a dozen self-regulatory, accountability, and dispute resolution programs.

YOUR IMPACT

As the Manager, Communications at BBB National Programs, you will make a difference by helping to:

  • Strategically grow the organization’s media relations initiatives through the placement of earned media coverage and op-eds.
  • Cultivate and expand the BBB National Programs brand by sharing content over our various platforms and marketing channels.
  • Grow and enhance BBB National Programs’ presence with influential media, particularly those who cover government regulation and industry self-regulation, advertising and advertising law (including children’s issues), and global and domestic privacy issues and policies (also including children’s issues).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop outreach initiatives and campaigns to introduce BBB National Programs, as represented by executive leadership, program leaders and subject matter experts, to members of the print, electronic (television and radio), and digital media
  • Write BBB National Programs press releases and other key “pitch” components, such as fact sheets
  • Develop narratives, messaging platforms, and talking points that increase positive visibility for BBB National Programs
  • Interview subject matter experts and write articles, blogs, and self-regulatory information for all appropriate distribution channels
  • Work collaboratively with MarCom team to maintain current content platforms and explore outreach and expansion opportunities for BBB National Programs messaging

What You Will Bring

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in communications, journalism, or a related field
  • 4+ years’ experience working with and writing materials, such as press releases and other editorial content, targeted to members of the media and other public audiences
  • Proven success writing for multiple platforms—including print, digital, and social media
  • Ability to take complex issues and create digestible content for the media, BBB National Programs’ stakeholders, and the public

Job Summary

The Public Relations Manager works closely with all members of the marketing team to implement externally facing programs and communications that promote the brand, its products and services, executives and subject matter experts to multiple audiences. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Public Relations & Events and will work with the team to ensure the brand remains top of mind with our target audiences in all areas including but not limited to product news, brand and partner activations, strategic alliances, color innovation, organizational and business updates, marketing activities and key CSR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of integrated public relations strategy to drive brand awareness and relevant media coverage, maintain strategic relationships with press and external influencers to support all functions of Benjamin Moore
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop external communications plans and implement activities based on business needs
  • Foster industry relationships with the media, notable end users, influencers, charitable groups, etc. and build network on behalf of the brand
  • Manage day-to-day activity with two PR agencies to provide direction and content for key initiatives

  • Identify and pursue thought-leadership opportunities for executives and subject matter experts through media and relevant industry events

  • Track programs against KPIs, reporting on successes and identifying opportunities for adjustment

Required Knowledge & Desired Skills

  • BA/BS required, preferably in public relations, communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 – 8+ years of relevant public relations, communications or media experience is preferred

The Travel Retail Worldwide Communications team supports all communications – including Corporate Communications & Affairs as well as Consumer PR & Influencer Marketing – for a reputable beauty company with 25+ prestige beauty, skin care, fragrance and hair care brands within the Travel Retail channel.

In this role, the Director, Corporate Communications & Affairs, Travel Retail Worldwide (backfill) will support the Executive Director, Communications to build the Travel Retail division’s reputation as an innovator within the industry, a top destination for talent and a leader in sustainability, social impact and inclusion, diversity and equity. The Director will craft compelling, multi-media content that tells the story of our channel and build strong relationships with key media, industry organizations, NGOs and internal stakeholders to further our reputational goals.

Corporate Communications

  • Engage Travel Retail employees with the division’s strategies, objectives and culture across a variety of internal channels and touchpoints including Town Halls, intranet, email, etc.
  • Lead 2H Town Hall planning with support from Associate on agenda development, planning, executive/leadership comms, and presenter coordination

Position Summary

The Senior Video Producer is an integral part of the storytelling process and will be responsible for producing high quality video projects from concept development to post-production and delivery, lighting and camera direction, post-production audio editing, and post-production video editing for end products at Mercedes-Benz Stadium including but not limited to Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, Atlanta Falcons Football, and more.   • Candidate must coordinate, plan and execute production workflows and schedules
  • Candidate must actively mentor peers in order to strengthen the overall reach of the creative team
  • Candidate must be able to adapt to ever changing requests, design edits and/or revisions and must be able to take direction and produce an approved finished product in a timely manner
  • Candidate will be responsible for utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, other nonlinear editing software, and production equipment to create advanced videos for all events at Mercedes-Benz including but not limited to Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, Atlanta Falcons Football, and more
  • Candidate must produce, shoot, lead and guide multiple original video projects from concept, pre-production, production, post production, and final delivery
  • Candidate must be able to present concepts with storyboards/scripts, references and/or any other production design sample work
  • Candidate must bring unique, creative vision and strong editorial voice, and constantly work to identify new sources of content/talent as well as new formats for storytelling
  • Candidate must be able produce project files and usage protocols for the entire game presentation staff (For example an AE project file for lower thirds for editors to use in their respective projects or edit templates)
  • Candidate will have an active role in the game day execution for all events at Mercedes-Benz including but not limited to Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, Atlanta Falcons Football, and more
  • Candidate will be responsible for fact checking, research and art/video consistency for their respective projects (This includes using images from Getty or any other approved source)
  • Candidate must generate the creative behind video, including finding the right talent, creation of shot lists, interview questions and handling the daily schedule to ensure timely delivery of each video, while working collaboratively within the ecosystem of AMBSE
  • Candidate will assist with maintenance and service of any department video production programs, software and equipment as needed within the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (asset and equipment management, etc.)
  • Candidate must lead video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
  • Candidate must be highly motivated, work well under pressure and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments
  • Candidate must effectively collaborate within a team environment and across multiple departments within the company
  • Candidate must maintain awareness of new creative trends in video and digital media and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres and video production software
  • Candidate will be assigned other duties as applicable

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications and/or 4 years of experience in video and broadcast production
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the digital, film, TV, agency, preferably in the sports entertainment field
  • Detailed experience of live event video production
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and any other video editing application
  • In-depth experience interpreting the creative brief
  • A demonstrated ability to lead video teams

Required Skills

  • Candidate must be able to supply web-links to completed work, demo reels or any other content, which validates their application and work experience
  • Candidate must be proficient in all aspects of video post-production including (but not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop) and any associated plug-ins.
  • Candidate must have the ability to lead and influence large groups in high pressure environments
  • Candidate must be proficient in ideating, crafting a narrative, capturing the moments and producing compelling final cuts

The Role – Account Manager – PR

· We are looking for someone to drive delivery of integrated communication campaigns that incorporate media, analyst and influencer relations, trade-show events, speaker and award opportunities, and digital content creation and promotion

A bit about the role

As part of the team responsible for Selfridges PR, you will make sure that our products are always well represented in the right publications and digital platforms.

Based in the London office, you’ll help to ensure our Press Office runs smoothly. This is a largely administrative yet dynamic role that involves everything from answering general press queries and managing sample send-outs to drafting product press releases and placing coverage. You’ll facilitate sample requests and liaise with journalists and influencers daily – all with the overall aim of gaining maximum coverage in press and on social, sharing our unique Selfridges stories.

Alongside this, you will be on hand to support and contribute at press events, and you’ll be able to build strong relationships with teams across the business.

Role Responsibility

You will have some experience in PR (either employed or as a work placement) and enjoy working in a busy and often fast-paced environment.   • Provide support to the press team on events including seasonal press days, brand activations and launches
  • Support press team with product sample call ins and images requests as required
  • Monitor relevant Selfridges coverage across digital platforms
