Summary

Codazen is looking for a Digital Producer / Product Owner excited to take on challenges in a growing and fast-paced environment. The candidate should have deep technical understanding and experience of driving and owning software product development principles and processes.

The Digital Producer / Product Owner will serve as the ‘voice of the client’ throughout the end-to-end process of product development and ensuring that the software products and experiences delivered meet the client’s needs and goals. You are responsible to work with clients to define and clarify product strategy and goals, make strategy recommendations, and drive forward the team’s success to achieve those client’s defined goals.

This role is responsible in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure that the Scrum teams are working on stories and technical work that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality. Experience with Agile methodologies is a requirement, and the candidate must be detail oriented with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management. In particular, experience in creating effective, actionable user stories to drive software product development is preferred.

Requirements

  • Gather and define scope and requirements with clients to achieve the software product goals, and relay those requirements to the rest of the teams.
  • Drive forward product strategy and make recommendations to achieve the client’s immediate and long-term goals. Facilitate higher-level strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and understand product risks along with triggers that impact severity. Work with clients to clarify requirements and mitigate these risks.
  • Lead task prioritization and backlog grooming with cross-functional teams, communicate prioritization to creative, engineering, production teams effectively and accurately.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationship through daily communication.
  • Lead the production team in creating and maintaining detailed project plans, project briefs, and task requirements with defined parameters and input from team members as needed.
  • Construct user stories with well-defined requirements and confirm requirements are satisfied upon development completion.
  • Facilitate and support collaboration and effective workflow between project team members. Oversee process adoption and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in information science, computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as professional Product Owner, running multiple initiatives and managing various stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proven success managing the delivery and release of consumer-facing digital projects or enterprise software products.
  • Experience managing creative and engineer teams in a client-facing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of web application and general software development
  • Strong knowledge of digital disciplines including: Strategy, Creative, Information Architecture, Business Analysis, Technology, QA, and Analytics.

The Digital Producer is expected to be an active member of the core project team. You will collaborate with Account Management, Creative, and Technology teams to help realize the creative vision.

This role serves as the lead in executing the technical production for global digital campaign delivery and implementation.

This person should have deep connections in the digital world, a highly collaborative attitude, experience leading digital teams and possess a strong commitment to doing whatever it takes to make great work.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate, setup and manage complex digital campaigns from brief through launch
  • Creation of production budgets and timelines
  • Accountable for the production team’s organization, execution, operational efficiencies and overall project health
  • Ensure productions meet or exceed internal and client expectations, including being on-time and on-budget
  • Ability to manage and coach more junior producers on production approach, process and execution
  • Collaborate with internal strategy, account, creative and development teams to ensure relevancy of digital deliverables
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of digital production by guaranteeing projects are correctly resourced, planned and executed
  • Manage communication between designers, developers, and digital production vendors
  • Ensure production teams are following client and agency processes
  • Coordinate activities of the production and ensure project tasks, including scheduling and facilitating team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal reviews), communicating action steps, and delivering status reports to project team
  • Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously by leveraging other producers and overseeing production work
  • Liaise with Executive Producer to ensure projects are running smoothly
  • Responsible for creation and tracking of vendor RFPs, SOWs and invoicing
  • Act as main point of contact in production vendor relationships and work with vendors to manage global delivery and launch of all digital campaigns
  • Coordinate with account team to manage creative workflow and approvals
  • Partner with Business Affairs lead on estimates, and legal details related to testing and final production

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the Digital Advertising space
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Extensive experience managing medium to large digital campaigns
  • Must be a proven digital producer who can handle multiple projects at once, meet deliverables, create budgets and manage resources
  • Ability to be adaptable, flexible, persistent, versatile and graceful when faced with re-prioritization
  • Experience working with multiple teams offshore and onshore in multiple countries simultaneously
  • Experience with software development life cycles, web development processes and the delivery of advertising projects with creative and engineering components
  • Thorough knowledge of rich media technologies, IAB Standards, ad serving, media and metrics + analysis
  • Strong understanding of online space including video, website development and online advertising
  • Must have a strong digital background and should be familiar with broadcast production and print production best practices and workflow

The ideal candidate has experience managing and optimizing user acquisition channels with little supervision with particular experience in digital acquisition marketing. You can work independently, are innovative and resourceful, and strive to make the most impact in driving success of your channels. You are also analytical with data ultimately driving your decision making process. What you will do:
  • Own the strategy, campaign execution, optimization and reporting of all streaming audio campaigns.
  • Manage existing streaming audio campaigns to current CPA targets.
  • Explore new vendors/partners to expand the streaming audio portfolio to reach incremental SMB audiences.
  • Manage and lead all external relationships that are necessary to manage and expand the streaming audio portfolio.
  • Manage internal relationships responsible for campaign tagging and creative asset rotations.
  • Own the overall project plan for streaming radio each quarter to ensure that all work is on time and completed
  • Identify and prioritize the testing roadmap for streaming radio
  • Own streaming radio reporting including QA of accuracy, understanding the whys behind weekly and monthly trends, and optimization recommendations
  • Responsible for development and launch of cohesive landing pages for all shows, including the creation and maintenance of vanity URLs
  • Help identify and prioritize the testing roadmap for Digital TV
  • Validate the suitability of various vendors/partners for SMB acquisition
  • Plan and launch test campaigns with clear measurement plan, report on performance and provide post-campaign wrap-up reports


Who You Are

What you bring to the team:
  • 5+ years experience in performance-based acquisition marketing
  • Previous hands-on experience growing an audience for digital and managing those channels on a direct, day-to-day basis
  • Intuitive knowledge of the digital and offline media landscape and how Indeed’s brand can best fit within it
  • Previous experience working with agency partners or for an agency before
  • Deep bias towards analytics and measurement with extensive experience having your initiatives measured against or towards revenue-related goals
  • Willingness to dive deep in understanding attribution
  • Comfort and ease working with large budgets, aggressive targets and the measurement of key performance metrics (i.e. CPA and LTV)
  • Proven track record of project managing and scaling programs with ease and organization
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once with little to no supervision
  • Extreme resourcefulness to work independently and self driven in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptable and self-motivated in learning new software, channels and programs
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization in a remote environment
  • Excellent written communication and project management skills
