ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Fashion Product Coordinator, Commerce with a passion for product management to join our team. The individual in this role will support the process of creating world-class product collections and product experiences for The SpringHill Company. To succeed in this role, you will be an expert at coordinating across the entire product development cycle for apparel and consumer goods. You are great at project management and connecting the dots across various stages of product launch while cross-functionally working with creative, digital, marketing, operations, and product teams.
You have strong knowledge of what it takes to bring a product from idea to market, and all checkpoints in between. You embrace storytelling techniques as an integral piece to product and brand development. You are thoughtful, and love collaborating both internally and externally to ensure the highest quality, forward focused, trend-right product lines across all channels of distribution that ultimately grows the business.
REPORTS TO:
Director of Product Development
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support product coordination efforts across multiple collections and campaigns from inception to launch.
- Work closely with product development, operations, and commerce teams from product ideation through commercialization of branded products.
- Work alongside operations and development across product manufacturing and vendor management.
- Coordinate project timelines, adjustments, and updates with apparel design and commerce teams.
- Support sample coordination, pick up/delivery to ensure all merchandise received on time and against accurate builds/specs.
- Participate in product fit sessions, supporting development tasks and deliverables.
- Attend weekly, monthly, quarterly cross-functional team commerce and product meetings.
- Support sample and product coordination for apparel photoshoots for both brand and collaboration partners for internal and external campaign usage.
- Support image auditing proof sessions from shoots through post production and final selects.
- Ensure accuracy of product shot lists across multiple campaigns, partnering with creative teams and external partners.
- Consistently audit of the commerce website properties to ensure accuracy of merchandising.
- Support product marketing and commerce teams with weekly/monthly best seller recaps and insights to help drive deeper analytics and efficiencies across product business goals and initiatives.
- Support linesheet audits, builds, drops, and reviews along with updates across teams.
- Auditing style numbers, pricing, size scales, color codes, for correctness across all collections and projects.
- Coordination of product imagery and asset management from shoot to live on website.
- Style Number and SKU generation support for products.
- UPC generation support for products.
- Manage and support Merch Pack sku, content, copy, features, product imagery for all launches.
- Work cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, Marketing, and Communication teams to ensure accurate product representation.
- Conduct market research for competitor, best practices, consumer, price studies, and trend research.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product design, development, brand marketing, digital, and commerce teams to support product story.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields (e.g. Apparel design, product development).
- 3+ years of experience supporting product development or operations.
- A strong eye for detail and refinement.
- Excellent organizational skills with team-based personality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages at the same time.
- Show self-motivation, maturity, drive and the desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to take direction and be proactive in assisting team members.
- Show effective project time management.
- *Must be able to move boxes and carry product between buildings along with varied physical activity.
- Strong knowledge in softlines a plus (raw materials, textiles, print, pattern, graphic composition, manufacturing)
- Great aesthetic sense, creative thinking with attention to detail.
- Experience supporting product development.
- Knowledge of Collaboration software like Asana, Wrike, Jira, Basecamp, and Monday is a plus.
- Passion for entertainment, art, sports, fashion, lifestyle, music.

Job Description
The Sales Market Fashion PR Lead will contribute to added customer value, a strong brand, and increased sales by being responsible for Fashion PR and Showroom development. The role will work towards aligned and cross-function goals, driving omni sales performance and customer centricity. The Fashion PR Lead will build and maintain relationships with key media, influences, celebrities, and opinion leaders together with the Fashion PR Manager and Showroom team. The role will set tactics by planning, executing, and following up locally and globally planned PR and communications activities in accordance with H&M values, standards, policies, and procedures.
This position is based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA within our Communications function, and reports to our Sales Market Fashion PR Manager.
Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
Fashion PR and Showroom Strategy & Tactics
- Build Sales Market tactics for Fashion PR and Showroom, together with the Fashion PR Manager, based on insights regarding customer, brand, media, and competitive landscape.
- Responsible for local fashion PR activities together with the Showroom team.
- Overall responsible for fashion press releases and content, including proof reading and translations.
- Drive SEO PR campaigns and reclaim link strategy.
- Maintain and develop an in-depth knowledge of the local media landscape including good relations with most important media.
- Responsible for communication H&M messages externally and internally, together with Head Office and Communications Manager.
- Responsible for driving overall Showroom tactics, including plan, execute, and follow up.
- Ensure Showroom project management.
- Ensure effective agency collaboration and results, together with Fashion PR Manager
Networking and Relationship Building
- Act as a brand ambassador for H&M.
- Identify, maintain, and develop a network on a Sales Market level with the appropriate fashion journalists, stylists, influences, celebrities, and other opinion leaders
Reporting, Collaboration, and Follow up
- Ensure a close collaboration with the Influencer Specialist to maximize synergies between paid and earned relationships.
- Follow up on goals and objectives connected to project responsibility, showing the connection to added customer value and selling when possible.
- Ensuring relevant follow up of press clippings together with the Showroom team.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in working successfully within PR and retail
- Proven track results in optimizing PR plans to local needs
- Experience from working with fashion stakeholders, positioning brands within fashion while maintaining commerciality and a customer focused communication
- Experience in working with showrooms
- Experience in collaborating with agencies
- Knowledge of how to create results by leading others
- Competence within digital/tech and omni ways of working preferred
- Have a strategic and analytical mindset with strong planning and prioritizing skills
- Understanding of synergies between owned, paid, and earned media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship builder
- Fluent in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- 25% of travel is required, domestic and international
