Production Title: Atlanta Actors/Dancers Casting Call
Job Description: Casting directors are now casting, actors and dancers to work on scenes filming in Atlanta, Dance and Music Academy, on July 5th o/a September 11th. Must be available to work full-time.
Casting: Role #4
- Male
- Age range: 21-29 years old
- All ethnicities
- Strong skills in classical, contemporary, jazz, and ballet
- Charismatic, with a strong stage presence
- Upper body strength is important
- Character will dance, improvise and interact with the audience
- MUST be 5’8” – 6’ tall
- No tattoos on arms, back, neck or face
- Shorter, Regency-era hairstyle preferred
- Strong upper body strength required
- Aerial skills strongly preferred. Atlanta based talent only, or talent that can work as an Atlanta local.
Covid Test: TBA
Rehearsals Date: o/a June 29-July 14, 2022. (10 hour min. work schedule)
Performances Date: July 5- o/a Sept 11, 2022
(Show runs 90 minutes. 2 shows Wed/Thurs. 3 shows Fri-Sunday.)
Rate: $1500/week
Rehearsal weeks paid at a higher rate (TBD pending hours worked).

- Participate in rehearsals and production meetings as required
Requirements
- Male actor of Kenyan or East African heritage, aged 45-57
- Must confidently deliver a Kenyan accent
- Strong stage presence with the ability to embody the character’s charisma and wisdom
- Prior theatre experience preferred but not required
- Available for production dates: 26 July – 26 August 2025

Job Responsibilities
- Perform as part of a dynamic cast portraying various characters, including Pharaoh, Jacob, Brothers, Wives, and Ensemble.
- Bring depth and humanity to comedic and nuanced roles while showcasing strong dance and movement skills.
- Collaborate with directors, choreographers, and fellow cast members to deliver a compelling performance.
Requirements
- Open to performers of all genders, ages 18+, and ethnicities.
- Strong dancers and physical storytellers with excellent spatial awareness.
- Must be a Dallas local and available for the production schedule.
- Roles may include Potiphar, Mrs. Potiphar, Baker, Butler, and other featured parts.
- Note: The roles of Joseph and Narrator are already cast.
Compensation
- AEA Rate: $1,100 weekly minimum.
- Non-Union Rate: $1,000 weekly minimum.
