Position Overview
- The Project Management Office is seeking a Project Manager who will plan, execute, manage and deliver complex, multi-dimensional projects in an Agile environment.
- You will support our Content Management teams, who are responsible for critical editorial platforms that power digital content across our suite of products.
- As the Project Manager, you will be directly accountable for managing cross-functional projects that enable and support business goals. You will lead, guide and motivate your agile teams to deliver strategic initiatives with operational excellence.
- This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills to effectively manage projects in a matrix environment with diverse teams, key stakeholders, and senior executives.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies – daily standups, iteration planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews
- Coach teams on Agile practices and principles, delivering high quality products and services to our customers
- Resolve impediments and build consensus when conflicts arise
- Manage, assess, communicate, and improve project and team health using qualitative and quantitative measures
- Understand, advocate, and execute against business goals, driving projects and OKR delivery
- Collaborate with cross functional team members (product, design, engineering) to define goals and align strategy
- Identify project timelines, milestones, owners and manage execution against of milestones and key targets
- Coordinate with multiple teams (and project managers), driving alignment on project delivery
- Ensure transparency through communication and collaboration with all levels of business and technology
- Communicate project status and relevant information (including project meeting notes, decisions)
- Create and maintain project and team artifacts/documentation
- Manage project and sprint scope and unplanned requirements
- Identify and manage project risks, implement mitigation plans to minimize impact
- Evoke an appropriate sense of urgency around priorities within and across teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct experience in a Project Manager role directly involved with managing and delivering technology projects
3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master capacity with Agile methodologies
3+ years of coaching teams on Agile best practices
- Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
- In select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated, must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or adhere to enhanced protocols.

Job Description
Essential Functions
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, employment, and Company policies and procedures.
- With the direction of the Manager, execute strategic plans to optimize operational profits while maintaining quality, cleanliness and Guest Service standards.
- Supports the employee and guest satisfaction programs and ensures the staff understands the importance of the programs.
- Supervises all hourly staff, provides work direction, performance reviews, and coaching to the team.
- Mentors and counsels team members and enforce appropriate policies and procedures ensuring compliance of departmental standards.
- Responsible for supervising employee’s workflow, setting leadership standards, and guiding work locations efficiency. Builds internal relationships ensure our employees are exceeding expectations.
- Observes, critiques, and adjusts the daily functions of both departmental personnel and standard operating procedures to provide quality guest service.
- Maintain or exceed weekly budgeted variable operations result: cost of goods, variable labor, and safety. Adjust operations as necessary to budgets. Exceed annual cash flow trends.
- Shift supervision and responsibility of opening, mid and closing restaurant shifts.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional work area.
- Ensure proper hiring, and training content is maintained.
- Ensure the workforce is trained and proficient at operating venue.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. - High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2+ year’s Restaurant Management/Supervisory experience with experience managing high volume quick service or casual dining restaurants with a team of 15+ employees.
- Must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of a 24/7 – 365 day operation, inclusive of weekends, holidays and nights.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking/traveling to multiple venues throughout the day.
- Must demonstrate good judgment and a strong sense of ethics in deciding how to respond to the guests concerns and issues while keeping company business models in mind.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18+ years or older

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in hospitality management or business administration preferred.
