CASTING CALL FOR “I’M JEREMIAH”
“I’m Jeremiah” is a non-union student film from Cleveland State University. The project is produced by Ben Segall and directed by Chan Cunningham. The short film is a musical/drama with a projected running time of 10-12 minutes.
LOGLINE:
Following the dissolution of his band and fallout with his father, up-and-coming music star Jeremiah Smith finds himself drinking at a small-town tavern. Here, he must reconcile with his past and become the person he wants to be.
BRIEF SYNOPSIS:
The film starts in a flashback. Jeremiah and his partner/bandmate Mary are waiting in their Green Room. They’ve reached their dream; they’re waiting to go perform at the biggest venue they’ve ever been to. Jeremiah’s mind, however, is focused on something else entirely: his estranged father. In the present, Jeremiah finds himself at a small-town tavern during the day. Here, with the help of the Bartender and some of the midday patrons, Jeremiah looks inside himself for the answers he needs to be the person he wants to be.
LOOKING FOR:
