Bright AV is looking for an Associate Producer who is self motivated, personable and detail-oriented to join our rapidly growing Audio Visual Production team.

The ideal candidate is very organized, an excellent communicator, comfortable with managing multiple projects, schedules, clients, presenters, content, and logistics to make sure each event is a success.  The Associate Producer will play a role both in supporting the planning effort in the office and paying an onsite role at a variety of events.  Onsite roles to include, but not limited to: content management, pre-production, post-production, video production, and technical support and operation.   

The right candidate is positive, collaborative and always acts with hospitality. The position requires the Associate Producer to be tech savvy as it relates to Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Microsoft PPT, Word and Excel.  Zoom, vMix, and Adobe suite experience is a plus.

As a hybrid Senior Art Director/Designer for our B2B food brand (famous for their french fries, sold to the top fast-food chain), you’ll join a great team of art directors and copywriters dreaming up integrated 360° campaigns – from digital and social to trade show graphics and OOH. We take pride in craftsmanship and thoughtfulness – and we partner directly with our clients to build from scratch, and design for reality. One day you might work on a video, photo shoot, or a branding project – the next day you might lead a multimedia campaign, printed tactics, out-of-home, and more. Whatever the ask is, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to have your creative voice be heard – all while collaborating with a team of creative and production experts who love the brand and make great work together. You will report to one of two Creative Directors. We need someone who could begin on concepting for new projects, art directing a photo shoot or video, create InDesign layouts for print but also be digitally experienced, design trade show booths and more.

Qualifications

· BA in Design or Advertising or related field

· 5+ years’ experience in an agency/studio setting

· An online portfolio that shows off the very best of your thinking

· Traditional advertising experience for both print and digital/web

· Experience working for brands that have established visual branding guidelines

· B2B experience

· Have a balance of branding, layout, typography, and illustration design skills

· Enthusiasm to collaborate with production and account teams, in addition to creative

· Well-versed and comfortable in multiple presentation settings

· Af ull understanding of responsive digital development constraints and possibilities

· Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

· Ability to package up digital assets for delivery and oversee creative through production

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $58,000-$80,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Our early-stage startup is looking for a camera operator to record content about our products, services, and industry. This includes shoots like ‘person-on-the-street,’ shot-for-social clips, video podcasts, and testimonials, all at or near our office located in the Flatiron district.

We’re equipped with high-end camera equipment (we operate Sony FX3 and FX6 cameras). This is an excellent opportunity for early careerists who are looking to expand their portfolio, learn + network in tech, and improve their skills.

The hourly rate for this position is $15 to $20/hr. We expect between 10 and 20 hours of work weekly, as-needed during the week or on weekends.

America’s first 24/7 national news diginet – broadcasting to 50+ markets including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles – is expanding our metro Detroit team. We are looking for passionate storytellers who can help grow our audience on-air and online. The right candidate must have a passion for news, for telling compelling stories and creating high-quality content.

Producers will work closely with our anchor team to produce newscasts throughout the day for our news-wheel format. Duties include writing, producing and editing content.

We’re looking for a leader who will help plan and execute award-winning news coverage. Other than the basics of TV news, candidates with these special characteristics will stand out. The shift is mornings Wednesday-Saturday.

  • Be passionate about news in and out of the work environment
  • Have good judgement as to what makes a story on a national and international news level
  • Determine the order in which stories are told on stream
  • Time broadcasts and insure they are correct on the stream and on air
  • Have a flexible approach to your work schedule and be ready to work when news breaks
  • Be ready to plan and execute news coverage on your own
  • Have the ability to turn a wide range of news stories quickly
  • Be a strong writer
  • Be ready to produce – writing scripts, editing copy and creating show rundowns

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or similar degree preferred
  • Ability to produce newscasts
  • Must be an excellent writer for newscasts
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be engaged digitally utilizing multi-platform content distribution and display strong social media skills.
  • Ability to work well with our existing team
  • Ability to handle everything from breaking news, to live shots, to on-set interviews
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to shoot and edit video on non-linear programs is essential (Adobe Premiere Pro editing experience a plus).
