Professional Playing Experience

Professional athletes are the elite players in the world at their respective sports. With professional playing careers comes a wealth of knowledge gained from experience as well as professional instruction. Top-level league experience is preferred, however some sports have various levels of professional leagues. A Director may qualify if his/her experience at a minor league level is deemed sufficient.

Olympic Or National Team Playing Experience

International participation is also world class, and for some sports it’s the ultimate achievement. Any experience for an Olympic or National Team at the adult level is sought after by Area Scouts.

PROFESSIONAL Or OLYMPIC/NATIONAL TEAM COACHING EXPERIENCE

Extensive coaching experience at the highest levels. Being a former athlete of this caliber is a plus.

Elite Collegiate Playing Experience

Whereas we prefer professional playing experience, we value successful careers at the highest level of collegiate sports. Most notably, in sports that don’t offer the same professional opportunities that others may. We value decorated college athletes.

AVAILABILITY

Performing this role requires the Director to create their content in a timely manner. A new Director must be available and dedicated to working with the Area Scouts staff to produce quality content within a certain time frame. We will work around your existing schedules to achieve this goal.

  • Produce design-forward email and social campaigns monthly

Requirements

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills to thrive in a team environment
  • 3-5+ years of experience working as a graphic designer for consumer and/or lifestyle brands
  • Experience working with consumer packaged goods brands, ideally with exposure to food and beverage sectors
  • A well-rounded portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for color theory and composition and layout, as well as overall crisp execution across print and digital media
  • Strong understanding of typography, branding, and layout principles, with pixel-perfect attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of print production processes
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and high-level photo-editing and retouching ability

Our retail client, located in Brookhaven has an exciting ONSITE freelance to possible full-time opportunity for a Sr. Graphic Designer/ Art Director.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Graphic Designer /AD

will include: working on circulars and Newspaper ROPS. Also working on special projects, such as T shirt designs, logos , newsletters, billboards, banners, etc.

Some of the work is using previous formats and filling in merchandise, copy and pricing. Additional work would be designing new formats. Also needs to have ability to manage and prioritize projects, manage team members when Senior managers are out of the office. Will work with buyers and managers on various projects.

REQUIREMENTS for the Sr. Graphic Designer/AD:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Management experience
  • Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Retail design experience is preferred, but not required
