Casting Call: Film Crew for A24 Project

Project Details:

  • Production Company: A24
  • Location: Albuquerque, NM
  • Date: November 20th
  • Note: Applicants must be local to Albuquerque or the surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various production tasks as directed by the production team.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the filming process on set.
  • Collaborate with different departments to meet the needs of the production.
  • Handle equipment and props with care and according to instructions.
  • Be available for the entire duration of the shoot on November 20th.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Prior experience in film production is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow directions and work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be punctual and have a professional attitude.
  • Physical ability to handle equipment and stand or move around for extended periods.

Compensation:

  • Rate: $104 for 8 hours of work.
  • Additional hours, if required, may be compensated accordingly.

Project Details: We are currently seeking talented individuals to join the crew of our upcoming independent feature film, a Coming of Age Dramedy set in Savannah, GA. This project operates under the SAG Interim Agreement, and all selected candidates must be local to the Savannah area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Production Designer: Conceptualize and create the overall visual style of the film, working closely with the director to bring the vision to life.
  • Production Sound: Capture high-quality on-set sound and collaborate with the post-production team to ensure seamless audio integration.
  • Costume Designer: Design and coordinate costumes to enhance character development and fit the overall aesthetic of the film.
  • Location Manager: Scout and secure suitable filming locations, coordinate logistics, and ensure a smooth production process on-site.
  • Production Coordinator: Assist in the planning and execution of various production tasks, ensuring efficient workflow on set.
  • Key Hair/Key Makeup: Responsible for the hair and makeup design and execution, creating looks that enhance the characters and storytelling.
  • Key Grip/Gaffer: Manage the lighting and grip departments, working closely to achieve the desired visual atmosphere.
