We are looking for a hands-on Senior Motion Graphic Production Artist with expertise in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interactive space, and its production requirements, as well as project management skills, organizational and leadership skills, and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production and post-production of animations using internal proprietary processes and tools as well as industry standard methods and tools
  • Work closely with Motion Graphic Production Team Leads, Interactive Developers and Design, Video and Software teams
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and ensure production deadlines are met with accurate file handoffs for localization
  • Creates streamlined, organized files with anticipation of the production pipeline, potential technological constraints, and a tight localization schedule.
  • Review final deliverables with an exacting eye ensuring all work meets client quality standards for video and animation deliverables
  • Provide production solutions through testing, research and prototyping

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience with Adobe After Effects
  • After Effects compositing and animation experience, with scripting and expressions a plus
  • Nuke, and Maya to After Effects workflow understanding or experience a plus
  • Solid understanding of basic 3D principles & pipeline
  • Photoshop knowledge and expertise, including but not limited to smart objects, resolution and file export options
  • Illustrator knowledge and expertise pertaining to vector based animations
  • Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge
  • Batch production, Adobe, Javascript, and Mac based scripting experience a plus

We are currently seeking a Production Graphic Designer who is hands on and committed with a “can do” attitude who is creative and has strong packaging experience. Working within the graphic design group, as part of the larger marketing department you will have to demonstrate good adaptability, flexibility, conscientiousness, and a positive attitude.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Brand Marketing and Creative Vision, you are innovative, hard-working and ready to join a fun and close-knit marketing team. The Production Graphic Designer will create packaging and digital assets based on brand style guides and assist with internal requests for various needs. You will help send and manage all internal files, and ensure communications with our overseas manufacturers are clear and efficient. You will play a pivotal role representing our brand messaging through creative and visual means. The person in this role will be accountable for ensuring graphic design projects are delivered on time and of the highest quality.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Work as part of a design team to develop content that engages and inspires our customers/consumers while adhering to company brand guidelines ie. Advertising, sell sheets, product packaging, online assets, presentations, etc…
  • Provide graphic design support for projects including packaging layout alterations, photography manipulation, and resizing existing creative designs

  • English (fluent) / French or Spanish are assets but not required
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Experience with packaging die-lines, pre-press and printing production/file preparation

Position Summary:

The Production Artist position is integrated within the TCM creative team and focus on the production of various print and digital assets as well as creating and revising collaterals to support the design team. Description of Role:

Production crew responsible for assisting with all parts of event production from concept to final show, including: Creating custom design pieces, cleaning, prepping equipment, packing and loading trucks, returning equipment, maintaining warehouse organization and quality assurance of products, executing installation and breakdown of events.

Job Summary of the Role:

We are searching for an Executive Producer who is experienced, ambitious, compassionate and highly driven, to lead and help grow our San Diego office’s production department. This new role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our photo and video productions in San Diego and will manage and mentor a team of 3-5 full time crew members and production staff including Content Creators, Video Producers, and DPs. This role reports directly to our Head of Production.

The Executive Producer is responsible for making sure all shoots are executed efficiently, on budget, and to our clients’ standards and will oversee 1-5 productions a week, from simple UGC-style content creation for organic and paid social to large-scale productions for CTV and broadcast. They will delegate and at times execute production coordination duties including searching for locations, writing call sheets, creating budgets, and collaborating with our Casting Manager.

The ideal candidate for this role has worked as a Video Producer, Production Manager, Production Lead, Senior Production Coordinator, or another key managerial production position at a creative agency, media, entertainment, or production company. Candidates must have a strong understanding and proven experience of all technical and organizational aspects of planning and executing video and photo shoots. This person is also an experienced leader and has effectively led and trained a team of crew members and production staff.

  • Oversee the execution of 1-5 productions a week.
  • Monitor and track in-person and remote productions and their budgets.
  • Mentor and lead the production team, helping build a culture of collaboration and creativity while helping teammates think through creative visions and production constraints.
  • Increase the team’s ability to capture compelling, thumb-stopping images.
  • Lead creative best practices for performance video production, encouraging and embracing the use of both iPhones and prosumer/cinema equipment equally.
  • Be present on-set to ensure quality control.
  • Delegate and at times execute production coordination duties.
  • Assure all releases, permits, and legal clearances are being properly captured and archived.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Production to make strategic decisions to scale and hone our production capacity in San Diego.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of managing a video/photo production team
  • You have held Production Manager, Head of Production, Production Coordinator, or another key managerial production role at a creative agency, media, entertainment or production company.
  • You have broad technical abilities across all aspects of the on-set production process including lighting, operating camera/sound equipment, and directing actors.
  • You have thorough administrative and production coordination knowledge including finding locations, writing call sheets, drafting budgets, and staffing shoots.
  • You are a self-starter, adaptable worker, and are both highly analytical and very creative.
  • You are an inspirational, focused, strong, and empathetic leader.
  • Solid relationships with production companies in San Diego is a plus.
  • Understanding of the administrative production process such as compliance procedures, best practices in licensing, union, permitting, and legal production requirements is a plus.
