Role: Social Creative/ Social Art Director

Location: London, UK. Mainly working from home, with the option to work from the IIG head office (RA) or the client’s HQ

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Social Creative takes social content projects from brief to completion. This role will provide new ideas and creativity whilst working closely with the client’s brand guidelines, working within specified timeframes. You will be working with a growing in-house creative agency servicing the client, including their Global Corporate communications.

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF…

The ideal candidate will be someone who lives and breathes social media, with strong understanding of conceptual digital creative, social platforms and digital best practice. The role is fast paced and responsive working across multiple content assets and social activity within the client’s organisation.

The ideal candidate will be someone with good foundations in digital and specifically social media, with a desire to create impactful, best in class stand out digital work. Absolute knowledge of all major social media platforms is a must as well as an understanding and desire to tailor creative ideas for them. You’ll ideally be from a digital/social background with around 5 years’ experience and must understand the strict guidelines to respect and ensures consistency and accuracy across all creatives.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Lead Designer and Account Director, the Social Creative works alongside the team of 6. You will produce assets to be posted on their Global social accounts, to support the brand mission, engage their target audience and bring to life their ideas and ambitions. Working as part of the growing inhouse agency’s Corporate team, you will be supporting the client’s social media activity, primarily through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, engaging its target audience and bringing to life their ideas and ambitions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Producing design / ideas to the client’s brief and exacting standards from the outset until completion
  • Positively influencing clients with creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative concepts
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the clients’ objectives and formulate plan of action to achieve them by creating inspiring and exciting content
  • Be an entrepreneurial lead on the development of creative and output
  • Work in collaboration with the growing in house agency, for the client account (including a Social Strategist and Social Media Manager), as well as creative and brand teams to deliver best-in-class performance campaigns
  • Be a brand guardian for the client, ensuring the guidelines and tone of voice are respected across all assets being produced by the Studio.
  • Create digital assets, social media assets, video’s, GIF’s, MEMEs, and different event and campaign collateral
  • Look for innovative ways to develop new creative within the guidelines, marketing and production opportunities.
  • Keenly evaluate and monitor industry trends and brands, research industry developments in branding and marketing to be at the forefront of creative excellence
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the client’s marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant and positive impact
  • Strong project management skills to effectively manage workloads within agreed timescales, teamed with an aptitude for managing multiple varying sized projects seamlessly for a high-profile client
  • Keeping up to date with current digital and creative trends.

  • Storyboarding Animation concepts
  • Nice to have – motion and video skills using After Effects & Premiere.

Summary:

The Manager, Paint and Sign Artists position is responsible for the direct oversight of the Paint and Sign Shop trades for Hersheypark, Hersheypark Arena, Hersheypark Stadium, and all parking lot line striping, with the additional responsibilities of various Sign Artist work at any of the Hershey Entertainment and Resort properties. This role is responsible for providing safe, well maintained facilities for the enjoyment and safety of our guests and employees.

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

  • Oversee daily operations of the Paint and Sign Artists, including scheduling and job coding for hourly employees, creating preventative maintenance schedules and long-term projects, and coordinating with all maintenance department crews, other company departments, and outside contractors as needed.*
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Paint and Sign Artist direct reports. Improve employee communications and relations and ensure that all necessary training programs have been offered in accordance with government regulations and/or company policy.*
  • Assist and guide maintenance projects through providing cost estimates, monitoring costs, and communicating to all parties involved with projects. Schedule projects and ensure that they are on schedule and on budget.*
  • Assist in the creation and management of the annual budgets by monitoring expenses, maximizing productivity, and assisting in the approval of purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices. Use CHAMPS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the tracking of buying and inventory.*
  • Ensure consistency in enforcement of Company and Department policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and assist in the oversight of health and safety practices and procedures in areas of responsibility.*
  • Participate in Manager on Duty rotations and departmental strategic planning initiatives as well as in various committees for Corporate and the Entertainment Complex.*
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Skilled in the use of various office automation software systems such as Microsoft Office and Google products (Excel, Word, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.)
  • Experience in customer service and project management. Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Completion of high school or GED
  • Associate’s degree
  • Relevant work experience can be substituted for education – 6 years

Additional Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience – Construction/Maintenance
  • Thorough knowledge of painting procedures to include walls, floors, ceilings, and various industrial items.
  • Thorough knowledge of various types of paint to include; latex, oil, epoxy, urethane, and automotive.
  • Basic knowledge of fiberglass repair, spray booth, and spray techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
  • Post-Employment – PA Amusement Ride Inspection Certification

COVID-19 testing will be required on Wednesday, 2/22/23, in Peachtree Corners, GA, from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
No outside tests are accepted.
The test performed is a Covid-19 PCR Test.
While at the test facility and on set, PPE must be worn.
All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.
You may not be able to provide test results from another outside source. It would be best if you were tested by the production’s Health and Safety team.
You must attend testing regardless of vaccination status.
Just so you know, if you are already booked to work on Zoltar Season 2 on Wednesday, 2/22/23, you will be able to COVID test for this role while on set.
